Is that genuine PU leather then?

Descr5onnthe website says 'leather faced'.
Stamps are not included in free delivery. And minimum spend is £35 for free delivery not £30.

Well that's odd since I bought the chair and a book of stamps and paid no P&P.
I got this and so did lots of HUKDers. The PU leather on the seat cracked and the chair became squeaky after a year.

For about a £1 you can get Protection Plus which will give you 12 month return / accidental damage cover. https://viking.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3365/~/what-is-protection-plus%3F
Get a good chair why people buy cheap chairs they are going to sit in for hours is beyond me.
I bought one of these but sent it back. Looks good in the pic, but poor quality. Leather is hard and rough and it hasn't got a great deal of padding.
I got one of these chairs from Viking. Even though the chair leans back, erm... don't use it as a rocking chair or it will only last a few weeks at most.

Seems to have pretty good reviews + is a model they have been selling for some time, in recent years at a higher price than now. It's probably not as good as a £100+ chair, but it's significantly cheaper.
Had this chair for a while so I thought I'd comment. Although good for the price, it does crack and becomes really squeaky. I've since spent £200+ on a chair and worth every penny, I'll never buy a cheap chair again. I do use it all day though.
I also bought this chair, at first I thought it was a bargain but then after a while all the leather split and it also got all squeeky. It did look really nice though.
I would say if you are just going for occasional use and want something that looks nice then go for it but if you want to use this every day, pay a bit more.

Any recommendations on a quality £80-100+ office chair?
I have one of these lying in my porch, if anyone wants it. was going to bin it, but might as well see if anyone wants it.

Renfrewshire area
I have this chair in my office, in cream, no complaints here & I use it for 8 hours a day.
Still going strong over 6 months later, no squeaks, no cracks. But then it gets cleaned regularly with alcohol gel.
Maybe it is keeping the PU supple or something.
Junk. Arm rests wear out in weeks and the chair looks horrible. I got them for £9.99 7 years ago!
This is why I don't buy cheap chairs.

The padding looks real thin the thicker it is the better.
This would make a good occasional use chair wouldn't recommend for long periods.
had one of those for a few years now. Good for a few hours use a day. Would not recommend for full time office chair. Padding is a bit light. generally happy with a decent looking office chair for £30-£35 mark.
I had this chair. Uncomfortable for the taller person as the "headrest" ends up in your shoulder blades. Gave it to a shorter person.
I have this chair too and both arms have cracked and split and only last a few months before that happened. Rubbish chair, the leather is fine but arms are not leather
you cannot go wrong, the brand is NICEDAY

What the hell happened there?
Rubbish chair, leather started to crack after less than a year use, don't waste your money...

Cheap gas cylinder exploded. Not the first time it happened, recently a boy in China was killed by one fired right up his bottom.

same happened to me after a week but we used to practice bondage. We had to purchase a better more expensive chair but only lasted few more extra days

I know, right? Lucky boy, I have to pay extra for this kind of thing.
I have just thrown mine and my sons out. As others said, the material on seats rips. Such a shame as other than that, they were strong and sturdy. Don't waste your money!
The famous Viking Direct chair from back in The DVD Forums Bargain Forum days has only just bitten the dust for me. I'm sure there's a few of you here, who were with us all back then

Heat!
I'm warning you - do not buy this chair, it's cheap rubbish. We got 5 of those to our office non of this are comfortable, after 6 months we have to buy new better ones. Everyone is complaining about back sore.. etc.
I had mine when I was working during the day and contracting at night (programming) for almost two years, doing about 6-8 hours a night on it, so I'd consider myself a veteran of this chair.

Surface leather held up really well. I worked hot summer nights, so the leather chair gave me a rash. The combination of mega-sweat and low padding made me bung a soft pillow under my ass. Got a bit squeaky after a while 'cos I kept rocking on it. Arms aren't made of leather and got a bit frayed because I picked at it a bit.

Overall, I'd say it's great for an occasional chair for the price and it looks nice and it easy to assemble. It's nowhere near as good as my £80-100 fabric office chair, but probably better than a £30 Ikea chair. You can do worse for the money, certainly so voted hot.

Never once exploded through my abdomen.

Good idea - on my way!
I've had this chair for 5 years now, nothing wrong with it. Though to assemble, I used my own better quality and much longer bolts with proper hexagonal heads on them as the cheap bolts they come with are poor (Do yourselves a favour and get some better bolts for a couple of quid at BandQ). I am 6 foot, it is adequately comfortable, plus a bed pillow works wonders. They also look far more expensive than £30. The PU leathers is fine, but it is fairly easy to cut e.g against a radiator.
