CEX don't sell new. Not that I'm aware of anyway.

Show me where.

If I'm wrong I will stand corrected, but I've used CEX for 2 years now and never known then to sell anything new. I've gone through the site and can't find anything stating anything different.

It's new, do a search for things like FIFA for 360, there'll be two types , one with the (S) and one without cos of the one-use DLC code included.

Whether it's sealed or not when you receive it, it should mean it's brand new.

The only proof is that they do not sell or buy games from people if it can be linked to steam because they never have done.

plus for the billionth time (s) next to the title stands for sealed

Billionth?

Really?

If an exchange site has a product that is NEW should it not state that it is new?

Full of it.

lol

Yea they do, they buy football manager which is activated on steam, but also can be played from the disc, the sealed ones come with the (S) and the open 2nd hand ones are labeled as *offline*

Some items will have an (S) at the end of the description on our website, this represents the requirement for the item to remain sealed. These items may sometimes still be available to sell if they have been used at a lower price. Please be aware that any items sent to us that are unsealed with the (S) on the description will be changed to their unsealed counterparts, items that can only be bought as sealed and are sent unsealed will be disposed of or returned based on your original order requirements.

+1 for you good sir!

I'm nothing if not a man of my word...

...I stand corrected! I never knew they sold new.

Now I will say this, just be aware of what you are buying if you are only buying BECAUSE it is new. This is direct quote...

I italacised the part I'm pointing out. Sounds a little dodgy to me.

btw guys that are debating if the item is new or not, well it is and as stated it is sealed.
all things in cex are Traded in so they be stated as second hand as the item is sold on to the shop so it is defined as "second hand" and not "new".
the (s) states that it is either sealed or with serial, games thats used on steam or have a one use code will have to be sealed but sometimes the store may want to put the box out so they will unseal the product and the guts along with serial is safe.
this is definitely a good deal considering its price is still 30+

ha i work in cex and trust me s doesn't mean sealed we have loads of unsealed s items on our shelves

seems like store specific then as i see stores with the sealed popular pc games with once use codes in windows and not out on the shopfloors.
