Have been looking for the black version ever since the silver one was posted a few days ago.

Currys have also dropped their price as well.

I presently have a Samsung S8 and just feel underwhelmed, nothing wrong with the phone mind you but coming from what were proper PDA phones, and Psions, Treos and Nokia Communicators etc from back in the day I've had them all and I still do have a Blackberry Passport that I use for a spare SIM card, only issue now on it is that its Blackberry 10 and speed is not its strong point now.

I actually went to Carphone Warehouse yesterday to physically see the Black version where I was prepared to buy at the Offline price which was £425 but the salesperson informed me that it was sealed and that he would not sell it to me even if I was his worse enemy etc.

I had to laugh as I get this alot from people who boarder on the ignorant when it comes to technology.

At this price now, I will order online for at least now I can get seller protection and return if things do not workout with it.

In a nutshell
  • 4.5-inch Full HD+ display
  • 12MP camera
  • Available in 32GB and 64GB
  • Available in Silver and Black
  • 26+ Hours use and with Quick Charge 3.0, get up to 50% charge in just 36 minutes

Breaking the mould

The KEYone has a 4.5-inch display with Full HD resolution - the distinctly different shape making way for the smart keyboard. It takes up less room than an on-screen one, and leaves you with more display to play with.

Been this price at currys for a while, voted hot though
I love my silver KEYone. Get a few odd looks and mocked continuously by friends, but I really enjoy the physical keyboard. It's not the fastest, but it's productive. The battery is excellent, and the camera isn't too bad either. Not sure the extra ram will help too much as I feel the processor is the cause of any lag.
Will always keep my as a spare when I eventually upgrade. Hope you enjoy it.

Overpriced IMO

I would agree with you on that but its still something different and still sports the Blackberry name that people have come to love etc.

I have still placed my order mind you and just seen that Qudco offer £10 for SIM FREE phones.

I got the q10 when it was £180. I don't mind waiting for a phone to drop in price. However I think Blackberry is milking its niche loyal customers like Apple does, although iPhones don't fall down to really low levels brand new

Sure its sports the name but it's make by TCl - very overpriced.

Blackberry isn't milking anyone as blackberry doesn't make phones anymore - they got out of the business nearly two years ago. These are made by TCL - a large Chinese company who licenses the name.
Got rid of mine to heavy yeh it’s different to heavy and keyboard starts hurting your thumbs
Title needs changing, "64GB HDD". I wouldn't buy any phone with a HDD these days ;D

I'm a blackberry keyone black edition user and I love it. It's no speed demon for sure but who cares, when you're typing all day every day it's massively helpful to have a physical keyboard. I do hate that facebook messenger doesn't send a message when pressing enter though!
Realistically it shouldn't cost more than £200. The camera and the battery life are good and that's about it. The display is hideous and the keyboard stats to squeak after 2 weeks so I'm happy I sold mine although lost quite a bit from buying it new.

Have to agree, £200 would be a decent price. New BB models on the horizon might push down its stubborn price.

I'm sure it'll go down. See the HTC U Ultra selling for just £200 now.

Actually going to be returning mine. The speed of simply to slow. I've tried everything from the Developer Mode to disabling the Hub but it's simply to slow for proper productivity.
