--------
If your voting cold - State why although most people have mentioned the Salesperson is declining to authorise sale, which is load of lies, again see receipt

According to sabz786 it's a great deal however- The Orange PAYG number needs to have been active for 12 months for the "Upgrade" to go through which is probably why some people are having problems getting these phones.

Got it directly from O2. Free BB9105, 500mins, Ultd Txts, Ultd Data + WiFi, BB Email and Ultd O2-to-O2 calls for £25 a month plus £60 Quidco cashback. Thot it was a good deal seen as most people I phone are also on O2 and use well over 1000 O2-to-O2 mins a month.

Was the phone you bought locked to Orange please?

Personally I like 9100 compared to 9105, for the key board layout.
I am using 8110 and love it.

The phone is GSM, you just need an Orange number for that price!!!!
It's a no brainer.

Great price. had this phone after selling my bb 9000. its basically a bold 9700 inside but with the smaller size. i did get rid of it a week later though as i wasnt used to the normal keypad layout and wanted a qwerty again.

But this proves that I purchased it on PAYG and not on CONTRACT. I deserve some Kudos!

Erm - I might be missing something, but does that receipt not say quite clearly "RIM 8910".. i.e. A totally different phone?

The 8910 Curve being the phone that has quite widely been posted on this site at £129.95?

Looks like it says 89105GSM to me.

Nah - too much of a coincidence for my liking..

Theres no such thing as a 8910...

It's provisioned on the payg evo system instore as a payg on the orange network upgrade only. However it is very likely it is just a system issue because there has been quite a few issues around pricing and upgrades on payg. The store you went to was probably feeling brave by selling it to you.

Its definetly a 9105 Pearl 3G people.....

Need some help while the debate is in full swin.

- Is their anyway I can add Skype via Three and use it without Blackberry add-on as three customer services think NOT, even though they have the 9105 on their PAYG listings. I bought mine unlocked.

Some help please... or any other network recommendations that can support Skype

I will investigate this offer at my local store tommorrow and report back, hot if true!

I don't know whether this deal's genuine or not, but Phones 4U HATE selling pay as you go and will quite often tell customers a phone is contract only just to avoid selling the PAYG or upsell to a contract. Had this issue with them several times.

Odd you mentioned that, because the lady from one of the stores tried to sell a sim only deal along with the PAYG handset, surely this is underhanded tactics

This is on. Tried in my local but have no sim!

anyone tried london stores?

How the hell does that make him a troll if he's just registered?

Apologies OP, offer is on, some handsets also unlocked. You need to a Orange PAYG number which has been active for 12months!

The price on the website is now showing as £149.99 and you need to buy a £10 top up also. This deal is also only on Orange
