Was looking for Blackberry 8110 on T Mobile as they were giving 1 year internet free...
Itstates need to buy insurance, dont need to, i have just ordered one.
It is £ 89.00 + £3.95 P & P
Use voucher code ZQ508 for a £5 off, so it is effectively 87.95
This was on sale in currys for £ 99.00, they sold out and now it is £146...so i think this is a good deal..

I have just ordered one....grt deal for me

Its tempting how good is the phone thou?

Great deal - ideal Christmas gift

I didnt like the phone at all, I couldnt get to grips wit hthe suretype layout. But, the bundle attached to the sim is worth it as that includes blackberry subs and a data allowance. I pay an extra £7 on top of my tarrif for blackberry subs.

also, I don't think the 8110 has wifi...someone may be able to clarify though

this doesnt have Wifi 8120 has wifi, which costs around £120 on orange w/o free internet etc anyway, i like this one

not a bad deal considering the free internet, worth mentioning that the Currys deal came with £40 worth of accessories. I believe Woolworths is now part of the whole Additions, Additios direct, Very Littlewoods, Littlewoods Direct, Marshall Ward etc group!. Whichmeans 15% discount code available plus 8% Quidco

please note: buy this phone from Additions Direct not from Woolworths!. It's the same price, and the same company, but for some reason you get more Quidco from Additions and also you can get 15% discount which all in all should bring it down to about £70 (ish)

not a bad deal.heat added. How do you get 15% off. Does additions direct deals with such discount code usage like littlewoods?

So, does it work only with T-mobile or can I use another PAYG or other SIM also ?
Again, this email and Internet facility is only active within UK or can be used Internationally also ?

Use ZQ762 to get £10 off.

Use code ZG103 on Additions Direct as a first time buyer for £30 off, and don't forget 8% Topcashback. Brings the total delivered cost to under £60!

Cons: Poor battery life, needs £5 top up for the free internet usage, only available in silver.

Anyone have any free delivery codes that will work alongside this ?

Not sure whether to vote hot or cold?

Handset should get £69 at CEX if locked to T-mobile, so if you have another suitable phone, then providing it doesn't need this handset to work then the cost, after selling the handset, Quidco and discount is some £10 - £15 for the year.

(Left it slightly vague as depends on the discount you choose / get and whether that works and how Quidco calcs re the VAT and delivery charge).

nice shout mate, thanks

ZG103 is not working for me.

I purchased this phone 2 weeks ago from argos set me back £130 though with free 12 month net and email :x. As a new blackberry owner im still working my way around the functions of it but id recommend it to anyone the camera is good the scroll wheel is responsive. The only niggle i had it took umptine texts emails and phone calls to tmobile to get the free internet activated etc but once its done it brings this phone to life crackberry.com has loads of info regarding these gem of a phone.

Is it 3g?

2G only

so best way to get this deal would be to go via quidco, create account as new customer, use zg103 and then maybe keep your fingers crossed? aren't additions meant to be dodgy, like taking money out of your account at a later date? or am i wrong?

Has quite a poor ]review.

disagree - a lot of the very poor ratings are just one word reviews where people can't get the hang pf the phone

most of the constructive reviews are very helpful, and certainly less critical of the phone.

No.

Can this SIM be used with other (unlocked) mobiles?

OK, you may get unlimited email and internet, but what are the charges for calls and texts?

Fantastic deal...Just ordered using code, came to £62.95 delivered + 8% quidco.

That is exactly what I plan to do (use my existing t-mobile contract, where I get unlimited internet). From what I understand, the only thing you may need to subscibe to is receive emails.

not interested in subscribing to anything - this deal is getting a wee bit colder for me.

was interested in getting this for my gf but if she has to start paying extra, every month, just for emails, then it gets a bit silly

I have had numerous iterations of the Blackberry in recent years through work and consider myself a heavy user of their devices.

My personal view is that the 8110 is one of the worst Blackberry phones made - sure it is light, slim and therefore convenient to carry (compared to the full-keyboard versions), battery life isn't too bad, screen is very good but that's where it stops.
The keyboard is quite simply terrible - there is no tactile response. The build quality is poor - I had 3 replacements where the trackball broke and some of the keys stopped working and the back cover has a tendency to easily come off (the plastic catches where these fit into the main body are weak). The system itself is incredibly slow when trying to receive new e-mails and browsing the net.

This is my personal view so I'm sure others find the unit perfectly fine - I think as a light-use phone for e-mail and internet this is probably fine but I wouldn't consider replacing my main phone with this.

Hope this is of help to someone - as mentioned I've had about 4 iterations of Blackberry over the last 4 years!

I ordered through additions this morning. No confirm e-mail as yet.

Called them up to ask when delivery will be, they said your order is in a queue for authorisation, i asked what that mean she said "as it is a high value electrical item, need authorisation to make sure you are eligible for this purchase"

Hoping it’ll get delivered!

does blackberry messenger come with this package?

i bought this phone when it was on sale at currys about a month ago the currys deal was a little better as it came with £40.00 of accessories.

the phone is good and the deal is even better however i will say that the phone does have its problems mainly memory issues as you can install application on the external memory card supplied.

I would say try to get this deal on a upgraded handset as this handset has it issues and it only takes about 2-3 weeks before you start encountering this and wish you had a new better model.
heat added for the deal well done op.

one word review? that review is very extensive.

"If email on the go is your top priority, and you don't like the size and weight of the big BlackBerries, then the 8110 could be a good choice. However, the 8110 lags behind other smartphones when it comes to most features, and it isn't the easiest phone to use either."

I think this phone would be ideal for those who don't mind spending a while to get used to it.

I personally wouldn't have the patience, shame because it's a nice looking phone.
