I think changing the cover maybe more important! ;-)

I think it can be as a mate of mine had one and he managed to get it set-up for Vodafone - I'll give him a shout tomorrow to see what he says.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

why ....................... it has to be PINK :-D:-D

i will defo get this if it is not pink and the case is changable lmao;-);-)

The cover? If you mean the fascia, then it's changeable. It will require some patience and tools though; it's not a simple remove and replace job. Fascia's and the tools can be found on fleabay.

I won a Blackberry Curve locked to vodafone which I then got unlocked but had to buy a vodafone sim and put £10 credit on it before they would give me the unlock code. However it had the vodafone firmware on it and I couldn't get normal internet connection when I put an 02 sim in it.

WARNING WHEN YOU BUY FROM E2SAVE:
I bought a nokia 5800 from e2save under clearance sale and it arrived without memory card and the item was actually a reconditoned product. i called them about memory card and they asked me to read the description again. I clicked the ? icon next to the item title and found this. so be aware when you buy from these people. It developed a problem within a week and i had to call their 0870 number helpline and use my own money to send the item back. They sent me another refurbished product. So buy from these people if you don't mind getting refurb/returned products under clearance.

"Reconditioned/Clearance Product

By using reconditioned/clearance stock, we are able to offer you even
further savings on your monthly line rental! These items are either
ex-demonstration, trial or mail order returned. These are not flawed
products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks. For your peace
of mind, each and every handset has been quality inspected by our engineers
& reconditioned if necessary. Each handset also comes with a full years
manufacturers warranty. Please note that reconditioned handsets are usually
repackaged once tested and do not come in the original branded box. These
products are only packaged with a charger, other accessories and
memory cards are not guaranteed."

Standard e2save clearnace stuff then!
I've had a few clearance phones form them. All came unlocked.

technically its for 89.95 not 79.95 and its e2save as well, not a very good people to deal with. i am carphone employee myself, and yet still had problems dealing with them.

he does say 'just £79.95 delivered when you buy £10 airtime on Orange PAYG @ e2save!!'

so simple maths would suggest that it totals 89.95.

Expired? still looks active to me...

ordered thanks

Hi - didn't change the fascia - it was for my wife, so pink was what she wanted!

I'm impressed with it. I have a blackberry of my own (curve). Only real difference is the keyboard is smaller (i.e. 2 letters on most keys) which takes a bit of getting used to. Set up was very simple and the phone has no flaws despite being a 'clearance item'.

Came in a plain white box but had the charger, handsfree headphones and the original blackberry case with it.

Ver impressed for the initial outlay! Much better than entering into a 2 year £35 per month deal!

How does this one compare?

shop.orange.co.uk/mob…ium

For £20 extra for a blue cover, and I think 8120 is slightly better than 8110 (or just different?). I'm only buying it so that I can try out a Blackberry until my contract expires in 7 months time, when I'll upgrade. That's £3 a month extra to not have the embarrassment of a pink phone, as well as one of Orange's Christmas Boxes (worth £60), so that seems like a much better deal to me?
