got on of these at the weekend from currys on the £150 after quidco deal (hopefully). Screen and picture quality was amazing but it seemd to have a lot of limitations. Cant play avi files without being converted first, cant read sd cards, apps are very limited . There is beta software to run android apps but its also very restricted. I ended up giving it to my son because hes got a blackberry phone and I'm waiting to see when the asus transformer prime comes out.

Pixmania are French and they do their best to hide the fact that the goods are sometimes delivered from France..........so you may get French manuals and returns may have to be sent to France. If there is a reliable UK seller at tha similar price I would not choose Pixmania......

Please note that some products' instruction manuals do not come in English. If the instruction manual does not come in English, this information will be clearly featured in the technical information sheet of the specific product.
Please note that in the case where you buy a product which does not have an English instruction manual you will be able to download the English manual by clicking on a link in the “order tracking” section of the Pixmania website. Some products come with 2-pin plugs, adapters from European to UK plugs are supplied free of charge with your order. Please note, that items can be delivered with French manuals & software. Both can be downloaded for free via your Pix & I.

Wasn't the Touchpad (new 32Gb) less than £200 today?

Given they're the same price (ish) I'd go for the Touchpad every time.

Seriously people, for the sake of a couple of quid, avoid pixmania like the plague.

Dreadful company. Yes, they ARE owned by DSG, but not UK based, so anything happens, then tough luck, as many people will attest.

Voting cold on that basis.

It's been withdrawn now....just as I was gonna buy it. Oh well best wait for the Ipad3

There are over ten threads on playbook. To get the ongoing tips and tricks and news and links to cheap accessories, downloads, news on rooting and possible full android developments, etc. check out the link below in future and bookmark it and contribute if you see anything interesting. Currently to install the android market you need to root the device but RIM (blackberry) updates have disabled dingleberry2 which roots it. However there is a new method just revealed and also dingleberry 3 might be out this weekend:
