I remember when this first came out, we were selling it for £300/£400+ at EE. Good price though. Head added
Brilliant phone. Strangely uncomfortable to hold, but really slick operation for those willing to give it a try.
I miss my z10, it was an amazing phone. I should get a z30... Have a note 3 at the moment. ..
Amazing phone,
does this come with blackberry os & if it does can you put android on it?

Better than the Moto G in my book.

It comes with BB 10. You can't put Android on it, but it can run Android apps.

I never even noticed a Z30 or even the Z3 had come out, due to the overwhelming amount of new phones on WP8.1 and especially Android. Worrying for Blackberry. The OS is really decent and it was even on the Playbook, but they don't have a hope of making it back now.

Better is no the right word, a more intuitive/innovative OS but hardware needs software and Blackberry is missing a huge amount of apps it could really do with. Blacberry is now the Betamax of the mobile world, most people just wouldn't choose one of these over a Moto G.

I got to agree with you there. The betamax was better than vhs but and this phone is better than most Android phones but it won't sell as you can't install apps onto it straight from the play store or from the Apple app store and most people are not interested in anything else!
It's Blackberry 10 os such a good system, find using my iPad or wife's iPhone so sluggish compared to the Blackberry, lots of clever clever features, but unfortunately no sky go.....
I have this mobile from last year. Bought it from cpw for £190. Everything is good except buggy os and battery life sucks (last for few hours only even it's new), also mobile becomes hot without any reason in my pocket. If I play video or songs battery drains quick like 5-6% per video play and also turn very hot. Think before you buy this mobile. I am going to get rid of this mobile soon.. I would rather spent more and get android than this.

blimey, most people just give heat. that's really taking one for the team!!
Great price, so voted hot, but to be honest I think you'll regret buying it as you'll find the lack of apps too frustrating.
typing from my z10..great phone for the price. the os is simply great for multi tasking. I only made the switch to blackberry this year after using Android right from the beginning. the phone is only let down by average battery but cannot complain for the price for a phone with 4g, expandable storage and HDMI connection. plus all the security. you can still download a lot of android app. heat added..
The BB - Z10 is very good with emails, browsing and instant messaging.
However if you like a lot off Apps or Games then this handset probably isn't for you.
great phone and superb os. good for multi tasking. only let down by average battery life. cannot complain for the price.

Don't worry the nexus 5 is just the same: battery atrocious, becomes hot, and dodgy apps with constant adverts, oh I miss my iPhone.

Fantastic price for a great phone. Even at usual 180 price, this is great value and half as cheap as similar alternatives.

Best comment ever. You have obviously never used the BB10 OS. I had an Android for 2 months it was terrible. Even basic tasks had to be done with a dire app. The Yahoo was one of the worst. Why did I need an app to read my emails? I got a pushed email and went to open it and instead of taking me to the email it took me to the last email account I had read then I had to get out of it and back to the account and email I wanted to read. What a load of ****.

Thanks for letting us know.
who even buys blackberries anymore..
Can you use it as a wireless hotspot?
Yes it is OK as a wireless hotspot.

Seeing a world beating phone at this price point really shows it is at the end of its commercial life. With the latest OS, this was probably the best phone I ever had. I'm forced to go with whatever my Company give me and I too am onto a Samsung Note 3. A great device but the BB was just a more complete business tool.

My work have allowed me to keep my BB so I do use that when nobody is looking.

The one criticism that it does deserve is worrying battery life, worrying as it always looks like it will run flat but in my time it has always lasted a day.

At this price, it is a good budget phone.
Which network does this phone work on 4g? Think EE only, may be Vodafone ??
dumb question, but does the z10 need blackberry services subscription in order to function properly? or have they done away with that now...

I sold my old one but I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm fairly certain that BB is dead and nothing can bring it back from the grave. It is a shame cause the OS was and probably is the best on the market. You know what people say about the iPhone, it simply works. Just like bb 10. The toast notifications were the best thing ever, and swiping to get to your messages or other apps was pretty damn amazing. They're still the number 1 brand in Indonesia But that's not gonna help them one bit...
seems to be selling like hot cakes at this price.
I'm holding out for the next iPhone.

Although, this seems like a sweet deal. It's for me. Voted hot still
