Seems cheap for the kit but B&D really aren't very good these days.

My son in law has this and his brother has the basic dewalt impact driver and they both said the B&D impact driver was better than his dewalt

Can I ask a silly question - why would I need an impact driver? What's it for? I already have a drill so why do I need an impact driver in addition? . Cheers.

Impact drivers basically turn screws really hard. They don't drill. So if you had a basic cordless drill, it won't be able to turn big screws deep into wood. A good impact driver will, the higher the torque, the "better" it can do this. (edited)

155nm of torque for the impact driver wouldn't do me but would suit basic diy homeowners.

What torque do you need for trade just out of interest?

Sitting in McDonald's having a coffee picked up deal walked over carpark to homebase job done.
Great little set screwdriver compact enough to get into tight spots.
    Heat.

Not one for the tradies but a great set for folks moving into their first place. Couple this with a screwdriver bit set that includes the Ikea allen keys and spend the weekend kicking the flark out of your kallaxs

You can use Allen keys with a drill? I have one of these drills and get most of my furniture from Ikea so that would be idea.

I bought this when it was on offer last summer. It came in so handy whilst i set up a new decking area. I didn't fancy putting all those screws in by hand. Handy for the jobs around the home.

Nice deal with the batteries too. I got a B&D for basic home DIY and it does the job. Think i paid about £20-30 from Homebase just for the one drill and battery.

Looks a bargain. Probably comparable to the Bauker deal at Toolstation depending on the detail & availability (neither of which I'm familiar with). There have been some great deals on sets around recently so worth considering the battery ecosystem for anyone planning on expanding their range of tools. It's not very cost effective getting battery tools from across different brands.

How does this drill compare to the bosch one posted yesterday? Anyone know?

The Bosch set is superior but it's only the drill

I know it’s a power tool and looks shouldn’t matter much but could they have designed it to look any worse? Old B&D styling was much more professional looking so don’t know why they changed it to this. Perhaps better in real life. (edited)

This is a much better deal if you can get stock at your local Toolstation. No longer available for delivery. Very unlikely you need at impact driver and if you do, very unlikely you want a B+D impact driver
