I nearly got one of these from B&Q, I think it's £50 there, but it felt massive for me, the Bosch one next to it was a lot more compact.

Doubt it - no hammer action. Is it a regular brick wall? I ask as my neighbour's high end SDS drill couldn't touch our reinforced concrete fence posts! Went through two drill bits to make two holes... If its just standard brick any hammer drill should do the job however for occasional use a wired drill is a lot better value (about £10~£15) and unless you are spending decent money (£80+) more powerful in my experience.
Get a Worx Combi drill off ebay for the same price this has hammer action
