My experience is they do not work that well. I have had sevral types and threw them all away. Ended up buying a Honda 4 stroke which is a different beast - stunning in use and a pro tool. Hope this deal works for someone though. HOT for the price, not for the strimmer.

Honda 4 strimmer looks good but aren't they around £300? Good for the frequent use on large gardens?

Flea bay. Good condition. £130.

It depends what you want to use if for, there's no way that I would pay £130 for a strimmer. I only need it to edge a small lawn and cut grass in places the lawn mower wont reach. I'll probably only use it for 10 minutes once a week in the summer. The bottom of the range strimmer that I previously had wasn't even up to doing this. This strimmer looks to be a lot better and it's probably about a fiver more (at the current price) than the useless bottom of the range model that I previously had

I have this strimmer and it's fab, who wants to pay > £100 for a strimmer anyway....

The Honda 4 stroke is a man toy. It works without effort and so quite in use. Horses for courses. Enjoy yre strimmer if it does wot u want it to. Me, i would want a half mile cable with an electric one.

I completely agree, a petrol strimmer would be total overkill for what I would use it for. I probably won't even need to use my extension lead the 6m cable will be long enough on it's own. I just want something that works without the line constantly breaking and requiring taking the spool off and re-threading. My old strimmer was so bad it was much quicker to use edging shears

Just received it and had a quick go, really pleased with it so far, solid and powerful, comfortable to use and no snapped line (or if it did snap it auto fed new line). Much much better than my old strimmer. Under estimated the size of the garden though, will need to use it with my extension lead but no problem really.

This deal is long gone.
