One of the strangest deals I've seen on here

This is a great deal.

How much for double yellow lines? what about a box junction? Can I have my own bus stop?

Lol this needs an award for the weirdest deal ever!

£1200 ? . I'm investing in an angle grinder and doing it myself

When I wanted mine done it was a case of asking the council and it was always a yes and as long as the builder had liability insurance I could use anyone. cheapest was £100 but that was about ten years ago.

Another local deal. ;-)

Bus stop?? You must be some size

Ur all boring

great deal worth sharing OP. Plus additional take up ups the savings the council make by going road by road, rather then house by house if you see what I mean. this comes off the bottom line of our rates, so hopefully if Blackpool council see a saving, other councils will follow suit.

Id just love someone to fix the pot holes in my road. Anyone? Anyone?!

cracking deal, just paid £750, it was a large area though

Wish this was national deal, I was quoted £800

will they come and do mine in cambridge lol

The only thing wrong with Blackpool, is that it is above sea level.

Bargain! Well worth 350 quid to get a kerb dropped on the mother-in-law.Does anyone know what the pilot's aims like as I quite like the father-in-law?

But above PNE eh?

Great deal, Cheshire charge a bloody fortune for this.

Super deal for those living in Blackpool. Heat from me though.

If you'd like to contribute to the £100's of millions+ cost of fixing pot holes after all this cold weather I'm sure they'd be happy to do it - council funds aren't endless you know!

so funny!

What a load of rubbish that ruins on-road car parking for the citizens of this great nation!
If you park on your front it just stops people parking across your 'drive' thus permanently removing a space even when you're not there!!!
Come on! Drop kerbs are a load of middle-class rubbish, park like normal people on the road.

My neighbour got their kerb dropped and park there car on a widened gravel drive then strangers still park where the drop kerb is without noticing and neighbour gets blocked in often

if you report that your council that you are having problems. they can step up mobile patrols and ticket them

Did this in 2008 in Swindon. £55 council processing fee and £800 for the actual work by a council approved contractor.

So it looks like a proper bargain to me.

Do councils tarmac drives for you?
