Dump of a place.

Never some so many obese salad dodgers in one place. Went once on a stag do, would never set foot anywhere near again.

PMSL

LOL

Not sure I'd want to get flattened by any of the local ladies.

I go to Blackpool all the time,to visit family and i've never noticed there being a lot of overweight people:?

Blackpool is a wonderful place. If you went there on a stag weekend then I doubt you saw the best it has to offer. Yes it is run down in parts and has lots for stags and hens, but there's a lot more to Blackpool than that. Visit the Tower, see the astonishingly beautiful Empress and Tower ballrooms, take the air on the Grade II listed North Pier, see the beautiful new public art exhibits in the Great Promenade Show, see the stunning interior of the Grand Theatre, have fun at Pleasure Beach, ride the classic trams, visit the refurbished zoo!
No I don't work for Blackpool tourism, I'm just a regular visitor to Blackpool who gets frustrated people won't give it a chance!
Naturally, heat and rep for this deal from me.

The stag and hens spoil it tho, last thing you want to see when you are with your kids and family is gangs of drunks shouting and screaming in your face.

Hi
I went to Blackpool for a day out with my 8 year old Daughter,
A lot of Hen and Stag parties, Drunk Men and Women all drunk and swearing ,
These poeple spoil it for decent hard working families on a day out....

BAN THE B--STARDS

Although I'm not keen on Blackpool per se ( too many council estate branded 'ladies' showing their excess flesh). I think Pleasure beach, Blackpool is the best theme park in the UK. It mightn't have the pretty gardens/landscaping but the sheer volume of adrenalin inducing rides is fantastic.

Works fine. Used it today and saved £19!! Cheers OP!

Did u use this print out from hukd site or the original magazine voucher, reason i ask is if i was to use the printout which has the front and back of the voucher in two separate parts, will they not question it and refuse the voucher?:?

Cheers heat n rep going to blackpool on the 2nd so will save me about £40

To be honest the 'B--STARDS' are probably spending a hell of alot more money their and keeping the place going more than 'hard working famiies'.

Also id imagine these Stag and Hens work hard during their working days too..

If you want family friendly goto Disney...

Been going to blackpool for 30 odd years since i was a kid and yes its not for everyone but you know what your getting, i've not long come back from vegas and hawaii (april) , and no blackpool is not the vegas of the north, went lake district last week and off to spain in september but i'll be off to blackpool again for the lights september /october blackpool is blackpool and always will be.... i agree the pleasure beach is prob best theme park in britain.. and the tower and other features just belong to blackpool, The only thing i do different now is go in the week so theres no hen or stag parties around.

you have more holidays than alan Whicker :pirate:

The only good thing about Blackpool is the escape route .... the M55 !!

Thanks OP - I live near Blackpool and my kids are visiting in a couple of weeks - we were going there anyway so this is a bonus!

One thing to watch out for: if you buy tickets online it's £5 cheaper than the gate price.
If you've not got a multiple of 3 going, buy the odd ticket(s) online the day before - it's a print-yourself barcode jobbie - then buy the remaining 3, 6, 9 whatever at the gate.

As for Blackpool - yes, there are parts of the town that are shameful, but it's VASTLY improved in the last few years, especially since the council realised it had to stop playing the 'deprived' card after it lost the casino bid. Most of the prom's been completely rebuilt, though there are some sections still being worked on, makes for a lovely spacious area to walk, cycle whatever.
There's a new shopping centre too, and up the coast there's Cleveleys (where I live) which has also just opened a new promenade, Fleetwood which is good for its views across the bay and its Freeport shopping and market, and south there's St Annes and Lytham.
The buildings facing the promenade really are a disgrace though - but they've started work on the streets leading away from the prom into the town centre.

It's far busier than I remember it, and during the day I don't see any drunkards on the prom - just all ages enjoying themselves. OK, it's sunny today so maybe my view's a bit distorted!

And to those sneering at the place - give up, we've heard it all before.

Always loved blackpool, great for a Lads weekend and ilumminations and taken the family twice to the pleasure beach and had a great time.

My sisters a snob and she loves the place, it can't be that bad:w00t:

We went last summer what a dirty, scummy out of control sh*thole it is, we sat on the prom at 12 midday on a saturday to the left of central pier with some fish & chips looking at the beach and as far as the eye could see to the left & right & to the sea there was nothing but litter beautiful along the front strip bars & lap dancing bars what next prossies sitting in windows with red lights on oh no i forgot the council can;t have there cut we went into the town almost everybody was blind drunk effing effing effing, taking a **** in every closed doorway & alleyway & that was the erm girls ? anywhere decent in the uk and the police would be herding them up into police vans for being drunk & dissorderly we were there for nearly an hour & never saw one copper how can they let that go on, and some type of people call that a holiday resort but what can you say ignorance is bliss :whistling:
PS oh i forgot if anybody gets some of those tickets get me a couple tear them up & throw them on the beach and see if you can pi*s on them while they blow around ice cold for me.

:x like most seside towns it has its fair share of (visiting) idiots but certainly not the worst place I been. You talk ***** tho the prom is not full of strip bars at all - I'll give you litter. oh and all the pros are on caunce street - no red lights sorry.

Thanks for your insightful tourism review but I thought this was an offer for Pleasure beach tickets?? You dont wanna go I take it - so jog on - close the door on your way out.
