Blackstar Fly 3 - 3w guitar amp £34.99 at Amazon

Looks like Amazon have price-matched the -£5 drop at Maplin (maplin.co.uk/p/b…8tu) - so worth buying from a company that won't be shutting down shortly in case of problems.

I remember when Amazon used to be the benchmark when it came to low prices. Now all they do is charge as much as they can get away with and price match to put other companies out of business. It won’t be long before there is no one left to price match and they can charge whatever they want.
Great little amp though, really good sound considering the size and plenty loud enough for home use.

Might need two of these for gigging
Would it be worth paying a bit more for the likes of this?

Could always just get the Blackstar Fly 3 extension cab - amazon.co.uk/Bla…JA/ - currently only £17 if you have Amazon Prime

I'd recommend this amp + the extension cab linked ^ above - better separation of stereo sound

Depends how portable you're planning on being.

The fly works on batteries and is designed as a take anywhere amp. It's also a damn good amp for both the size and money.
These are surprising loud for the size, much better getting one of these than a cheap 10 watt practise amp.

It doesn't come with a PSU, which costs £17 on top. Shame as I might have gone for one.

*edit*
Actually you can pick up the PSU for £12, which isn't so bad.

Owned mine for about a year now. Super little amp. Solid build with an impressive sound for its size. Battery life is excellent. Paid 50 at the time. You'll make you're 35 bucks back busking outside footlocker in no time.
Just got one of these ‘free’ with a subscription to ‘the guitar magazine’ £49.50 for 12 Issues and the amp

Have you got a link for the PSU for £12? I could only find for £17

Expired?

Strike that. Rookie error — it’s in the Third Party listings
This or the Boss Katana?
Now £47. Needs expiring.
