I think all andriod 7 phones have the option to use SD cards as internal storage
Cheap back up phone for festivals and holidays?
Not all android phones have this option to set up as Internal Storage - for example, Samsung actively blocks it. Which is why I had to get rid of mine because it kept running out of memory at 16GB and every time it updated an App on appstore, I had to go through the pain of re-locating it onto the SD card. But on the Blackview it works fine, I have the P2 and use it this way. It gives you the option when you insert the card to configure it as external or internal storage, and you can also change it in the settings menu. Don't know specifically about this phone, but the Blackview P2 I have is well made, runs really well & only gripe is the poor camera driver & the headphone sockets wired the wrong way around. It's pretty much Stock Android and 64GB/4GB RAM, 6000maH battery. They even let you root it by toggling a setting in the Settings menu if you are so inclined. And it cost me £100 on Amazon UK (£150 initially as a Lightning deal but they gave me a £50 refund for pointing out the problem with the headphone socket and the charger they supplied wasn't a fast charger).

For £40 or so, I reckon this would be a good backup phone for the price given what I've experienced on mine so far. Although 1GB RAM may be a little low.

You've convinced me!
Just got mine, really good phone however I did have to pay £18 extra for the VAT through DHL which I didn't expect but still very cheap!
