Been using this on a daily basis for the last 6 months, no real issues, very pleased with it. Absolute bargain at this price. Decent phone, much prefer it to my work iPhone and my previous Samsung. Easy to root as well if you want that sort of thing. Camera poor, phone is heavy (but 3+day battery life), but otherwise highly recommended. Mine runs on Marshmallow though. Put a detailed review on Amazon after I bought it.

Few bad customer reviews on Amazon, this is to be expected but the kind of issues described are worrying.

I have one as a second phone.

Here are a few negatives:

Really bad loudspeaker

Earpiece can be a little quiet (or I'm going deaf)

Comes with Android 6. Upgrade to Android 7 is possible if you are technically inclined, however I notice a few issues with the Android 7 ROM

Only one sim can do 4G standby at any one time

Some positives:

Battery keeps going and going

VoLTE support (works on EE out of the box, doesn't seem to work for Vodafone, haven't tried O2 or Three)

I bought mine for £132.99 from a different seller on Amazon. It was delivered 11 days ago. Can I get a refund for the difference I wonder?

Amazon have become very strict about price matching. You can try.

Just spoke to them. I have to order at the new price £99.99 and return the old.

Not really an issue just seems a long winded way to get the same end result.
Ordered this instead of a refurb Lenovo phone with a big battery but smaller than this that was £70 more! Thanks

Probably the most balanced single review below, which is very comprehensive. Consider reviewer paid higher price of (edit) £150 £129, not the current £99.99: amazon.co.uk/gp/…37/

Thanks Op. Amazing spec phone for the money. Didn't want to pay too much this seems to tick all the right boxes for me.

Thanks, that was my review.Actually paid £150 but they gave me a partial refund because of the headphone issue. Still worth the £150 IMHO !

Good review @d8smt thanks for that. Thanks OP for posting.
Is it stable enough on Android 7 then as it seems they are coming with that now from Amazon judging by some reviews I have seen?

When I flashed Android 7 myself, following the instructions of their forum, I found that battery use increased quite a bit (which may have slowed down after a while on the new OS of course) and it didn't feel quite as snappy.

I also found UKTV Play would no longer actually start playing video.

I flashed it back to Android 6 before I returned it.

YMMV.

You bought it from a different seller on Amazon.

I suppose that could explain it, however they have insisted on the same in the past even when they were the seller. It's been a few years since I've been able to get the difference refunded on a recently discounted item without returning it.
Tempted to cancel my order and stick with the refurb Lenovo P2 I ordered from laptops direct as that can have Lineage OS installed on it so seems to have more longevity.

No suppose about it. If you bought from a different seller and another seller had it cheaper you'd have to return it. And as you say Amazon stopped refunding the difference when they sold it cheaper ages ago.
Bluetooth earphones
Those specs for £100 are very impressive
Shame the camera sounds really bad. I don't expect SLR results but surely they will be ok?!
Have ordered it to replace the mrs' Moto g4 she dropped in the bath and that camera always seemed good enough, so hopefully it's as good as that!

The camera is *ok* (but not brilliant) in normal light conditions (although I would use a different app - Cameringo lite works best). In dark conditions, it is pretty terrible....mainly because there is no OIS and so to take a night picture means most of them are fuzzy because of the shake associated with the amount of time required to get light in the camera (even with a flash).

Don't suppose you know how well it plays games?
Received mine yesterday with Android 6.0 on and after following the instructions on the Blackview bulletin boards managed to get Android 7.0 installed and honestly STAGGERED by how good it is considering the money.

I have hammered it for nearly 2 hours re downloading several albums of music to my phone over WiFi, browsed the web, listened to music on train into work, read web sites etc and it's used 9% battery which in any other phone would be at least 30%! It also feels snappy enough in general use, although I don't seem to use more than 2GB of the RAM for my usage needs so that might be a factor. Music via my headphone is great once I tweaked the Audio FX app and the finger print sensor also seems good although I agree about the very average camera but this phone is just £99!

I received my replacement and was surprised at how quickly the battery was going down. Eventually I tracked it down to having 'high accuracy' enabled under location settings, which I didn't on the original one. Now that I've disabled that, it appears to be going on and on just like the first one.

If you don't need the benefits of high accuracy GPS (I have no idea what they are personally - never encountered a problem) then switch it off for really good battery life.

I switched my high accuracy GPS off @dave80 and now I'm friggin lost ! (only joking) Thanks for the advice.

I play some basic games on it & no lag - war wings, real racing, fifa mobile. I suspect it's not amazing for high end games, but for the stuff I use it for - which is occasional - it's been fine.

Any issues on android 7? I've held off from upgrading just in case........also, just out of interest, are your headphones playing left channel in right & vice versa?

thx
Dave

No issues that I have noticed on Android 7.0 using build 20170619 however I would strongly advise a factory reset when you upgrade as maybe those with issues didn't do this?

I also can't understand why this deal isn't the hottest on the site at the moment especially as if you do have any issues you deal with Amazon UK direct!? I would have been happy paying £200 for the phone as the incredible battery life alone is worth it but we also get 4gb memory and 64gb disk space included which is a winning combination for me. As for headphones - I can't notice the issue when listening to my music and the included Audio FX does a great job of adding some bass to things so I would give it 10/10 for playing my music on decent headphones too. Will try and find a left right video on YouTube to test now for you...

EDIT: Tested and channels are indeed the wrong way but swapping my headphones around solves this

I would suggest downloading Nova launcher from the play store, its much nicer
Black now currently available at £99.99
Still can't believe this isn't one of the hottest deals on here - ever!? I am so happy with mine as I get a genuine 2 full days of heavy use or 3 days if average use and it's snappy for everything I use it for. Camera not great but good enough for occasional shots.

In two minds to buy or not, some reviews on amazon putting me off about lagging or phone beginning to freeze after couple months use.

how long have you had yours?

Do you find any lag problems or issues when playing videos?
It's £99 and you can send it back via Amazon's hassle free returns system if you don't get along with it but no isesu with mine since this deal was posted and no lag whatsover.

You updated to android 7?
Yes updated to Android 7 via hereBUT make sure you plug the P2 in as soon as you have everything ready in SP Flash Tool as I lost HOURS reinstalling drivers before finding onlione that you only have 2 seconds to connect the P2 before the tool can't find it!

Thanks for the link, will look into it once phone arrives
started using phone from last week, came installed with android 7.

For the money, cant really complain, camera is not great, but better then my last phone.

just wanted to know what everyone else is getting out of the battery, when screen is locked on mine, phone doesnt use any juice, but once watching videos, surfing web,it feels as though is draining quick. I've not really been watching too much videos tbh.

any advise?

tnx
