This very similar-specced Oscal Pad 10 (also by Blackview) with 4G LTE (SIM-supported) & WV1 support for £129.99 seems much better value... amazon.co.uk/OSC…F5/ (btw, won't be accepted as a separate deal on HUKD as the seller has too few ratings)

Thanks! I have bought this to try for my Mom. Worth a shot at this price and if any problems can return it (obviously during the timeframe to do so).

Whilst I'm aware it's owned by Blackview I am trying it still on the basis it might've been a bad batch.

Got a BlackView tablet (Tab13) and it was insanely buggy and reliable due to DokeOS. I might've got a bad batch, but BlackView was so unhelpful regarding their support/warranty system that I had to go through a lengthy process to get my money back. It's what I get for paying on AliExpress and you will have much better luck with Amazon support of course, but worth sharing my experience regardless.

I had bought directly through their AliExpress store. I kid you not, throughout the warranty process they asked me to take it to a repair store without opening the tablet to see what the issue was. (edited)

14gb RAM? Must be that most common offering, a soldered 2x7Gb configuration, voted cold

Spec says 8gb RAM and uses 6gb of SSD so slightly disingenuous specs

I like Blackview stuff, I've had their products before and they've always been good (lack of chinese bloatware being a selling point, but yeah the listing is misleading -

10 inch Tablet Tab11SE can reach 14GB ROM in actual use (8GB actual+6GB virtual memory)

Probably safer to go the Fire Tablet or Lenovo route at this price.

Note that it says WV1 support, but later it says temporarily not supported...

The Windows version of AIDA64, is pretty decent too, actually. :-D

    I forget what AIDA64 was called now? - pre AIDA64 Day's, I'm talking about ...

Belarc Advisor is decent also - off topic slightly, I know. :-)

So is this a 2K tablet or FHD. Or they just mean it's got two displays that none of the images happen to show.

Also says it has "Battery life 5 years". Count me in, charge it up and never need a charger again!

The specs of this are screaming scam, how their marketing team passed this is hard to figure out.

There seem to be better deals out there beyond this one. If you have a tablet to trade in then the S6 lite is on offer at similar money with trade in and probably even lower if you have BLC, EPP etc

10.36" screen, 14GB ram, 2K and FHD? This sounds like weird specs to me. I would never buy anything with dodgy sounding specs like the ones on this. Cold for me.

As another comment said, this looks like a scam. (edited)

It isn't a scam. Tablet makers like Blackview and Telcast are positively reviewed and the specs are legit. Though blackview are somewhat naughty and silly in the way they list Ram. Totally unnecessary. (edited)

Which ones come with Google Play services by default though (without needing a hack)?
Probably only those from 2019 & earlier before the ban & still stuck on Android 10.
