The BlackVue DR900S Series is the world’s first 4K Ultra HD Cloud-connected Dashboard camera and takes video fidelity to a whole new performance level. The DR900S-2CH is BlackVue' s range-topping dual camera model, engineered for the user who demands the finest video quality day and night.

Featuring a stunning 4K UHD front camera with 8 megapixel CMOS sensor and Full HD 1080p rear camera with Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor for superb clarity. BlackVue is a global leader and innovator in the field of in-car video technology and has always put image quality and next generation functionality at the forefront of their product development, and the introduction of 4K UHD recording resolution and Cloud connectivity is an iconic moment in the evolution of the dash cam.

Along with 4K recording, the DR900S Series features HEVC compression, dual-band 2.4-5GHz Wi-Fi and BlackVue Over the Cloud connectivity, making it the ultimate car camera for protection when driving or while parked. The 4K Ultra High Definition resolution contains exactly four times as many pixels as Full HD, 3840 pixels × 2160 lines to be exact, equivalent to 8.3 million pixels. For a dashboard camera, this can mean the difference between an unusable pixelated blur and a readable licence plate, especially at speed or in low light conditions. To take even greater advantage of the extra resolution, the DR900S-2CH packs a massive ultra-wide 162 degree lens on its front camera for incredible clarity an Detail from edge-to-edge. The DR900S-2CH performs exceptionally well at night and in dark environments, while maintaining a low level of noise. In daylight, the ability to “freeze” the action is nothing short of spectacular, thanks to a high shutter speed, so users can clearly see the details of vehicles even in adjacent lanes at the edges of the screen. When handling 4K footage, storage space is always going to be a primary concern, fortunately the DR900S-2CH incorporates the best in video compression technology: HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding), also referred to as H.265, is the leading standard in broadcasting and streaming of 4K video content. This major advance allows the DR900S-2CH to store as much 4K footage on a 16GB micro SD card as a standard Full Hash cam would. But it’s not only about the quality of the image, the DR900S-2CH includes GPS logging, Wi-Fi, Cloud connectivity and impact and motion detection - all in a premium quality, discreet and compact design that is BlackVue' s signature.

BlackVue' s unique app-driven Over The Cloud platform is an industry first, a suite of real-time features that let you connect to the DR900S-2CH anytime, from anywhere in the world. Enjoy remote Live View and Push Notifications to your phone. Back up important videos to the free Cloud storage. Play an Download videos from your dash cam’s memory or the Cloud from anywhere. Enjoy Two-way Voice Communication with the driver from the app through the BlackVue' s integrated speaker and mic. Whether you are driving or away from your vehicle in parking mode, you can rest assured that your BlackVue DR900S-2CH will capture all the critical details.

Not sure if anyone has this model. Being 4K is the camera a bit worse on nighttime footage or are these ones ok?
Excellent camera!!!

I got this with 400gb micro card added and it is an excellent cam kit and the night vision is fine, I got this when it first got released with a 64gb card installed.
Hmm looks like a great deal, considering the same with a 16gb card is over £500.
These are very very good cameras... but the cost lets it down. If you have the funds, these are worthy buys. Otherwise do what I did and get a budget model in 1080p. The Aukey DR02 came as a pair for around £80 when on lightning deal. It's been amazing, and picture quality is outstanding. For 25% of the cost, it does the job just fine.
Go for viofo duo for £150
I have the DR750S-2CH , amazing camera , so the 4K version would be even better , top quality, expensive but worth it .
Think i shouldn't have posted as it isn't getting much heat.

It is the cheapest available by a considerable margin which i thought made it a good deal.

Sorry guys delete if you want.
I bought the 16gb version of this for £399 a month ago from Amazon- The Wifi connectivity is a big issue, the 5G doesn't work in the UK. I Needed a Samsung Phone to connect to the device to change it from 5G to 2.4ghz so my Huawei could connect too.

There's a big issue with BlackVue trying to restrict SD Cards - I've tried a couple and not had any luck getting them to work (And using branded U3 Pro and Dedicated for DashCam brands).

Unless it is a £25 Aldi special it is likely to get voted down, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t post it. Most will not read the detail but vote cold from the main page.
Remember, whether it goes Arctic cold or lava hot, your life outside these four walls will remain exactly the same. Post and be damned....like the rest of us!
I often find most of the deals that are useful to me don’t get much heat. But if they save someone out there some cash it’s been worth it! I’ve had the blackvue dr650gw for 3 years and it’s an excellent piece of kit in every way. Will definitely upgrade to this when the time comes. Thanks for posting the deal!

4K??? Seems a bit OTT. Are you wanting to covertly record a 25yr old fit bird jogging 100m away?.. Sorry... only joking.
Seriously though, you only need 1080p, you can't help everybody on the roads.
I got the front and rear 1080p next base and they're averagely £150 for both.
It's defiantly enough and I don't know if the other cams do this but the Next Base records GPS/accelerometer data so it shows you on google maps while playing the video and how smooth your driving is. That really good cos it acts as evidence that you can't edit the videos if the other driver says you did something and you've doctored footage.
Halfords might price match then you can add the AA 10% discount as well..£333.90

I agree. This seems the best price for this camera so it's a deal - heat added.
I’m presuming 4K would be better for capturing reg plates clearly
