It is 2h43m of your life that you will never get back. Save your money or spend it on a good meal (even a bad meal might be better value).

So should we all base our votes on your personal opinion of the movie?

Or should we base it on it being £3 cheaper than anywhere else at the moment?

I'm giving it heat for the price......

That's the HUKD way unfortunately. People don't seem to grasp that it's all about the price, or should be at least. I posted a deal for Blue Planet 2 UHD that was a fiver cheaper than most places and it got a serious amount of cold votes because it 'was' on iPlayer at one point, on a handful of compatible TVs in a highly compressed bitrate. Because they're the same thing. Not that I'm bothered, if it helped one person out then happy days!

For me it was 45 minutes too long, and the lack of a real bad guy/gal.

Plus Harrison Ford now only ever plays grumpy old Harrison Ford.

Such a shame as conceptually, visually and audibly it was spot on.
I can't seem to find a way to play the ultraviolet copy on a Samsung uhd TV...
Incredible film. Missed the 3D version in the cinema so was looking out for this. Thanks OP.

Uh...Love is pretty much as conventional a baddie as your gonna get in a blade runner film? What did you want? Someone twiddling a moustache and tying Ryan Reynolds to a train track :-)
This in 3D is pointless. It's not a film for 3D.
To me Blade Runner 2049 is a resplendent work of art that I am fortunate to own in 4K. The visuals in this film are just stunning, the chosen palette reflects each scene in perfect detail, layered with the Dolby Atmos audio track emanating and immersing you with every sound vibrating through your body.

However this film may not be for everyone, yes it does require 160 mins of your attention but the gradually evolving, profound spiritual and emotional themes interlaced throughout the movie left me contemplating the existence of our linear duality and perception of our soul's presence within our chosen reality.

If you connected with the spiritual themes of Avatar, Matrix, Interstellar and District 9, then you may resonate with this movie.

To be fair, he was grumpy in the first one.

I'm sorry I didn't read your review, to many big words and correct grammar.

It isn't all about the price as quality is also a factor. Its mostly about the price, but considered reviews are welcomed too. Sadly, bladerunner 2 is a fan pleasing film, but won't appeal to most.

They are wrong. 3D is for Marvel type films not proper sci-fi.
Simple way to filter out whether this is for you or not:

Q) Have you ever thought any of the Transformers movies were good?
A) If yes, don't watch Blade Runner 2049

Heat added OP. For the 3D version, this is a great deal.

I know what you're saying about Love, but for me she lacked presence or real menace.

And she wouldn't have looked right with a moustache

People might have liked it more with Reynolds in the lead role. I'm not a fan of Gosling, but I like this movie.
Checked 2 sainsburys and both still at £18, is it a glitch or anyone else bought at £14.99
Tried the massive Sainsburys in Wolverhampton and it's still at £18. Ah well...
