Imagine a future where all physical media is now stored in digital form, where iTunes reigns supreme. Where physical sheep have been replaced by electric ones and humans have been replaced by androids.

HDUK tried to warn us, they told us of the benefits of physical media...but we didnt listen...

Blade Runner 2049 in 4K, just £6.99

An incredible continuation for the original film. For sure my favourite movie from last year. Keep in mind that some previous knowledge is needed and that the film is a slow-burner sci-fi movie. Not everyone's cup of tea
Not a film for those with a limited brain capacity or those who suffer with an attention span of a gnat. For the rest, beats the endless super hero films Hollywood churn out nowadays.

Heat for the description alone well done
I’ll bite at that price, thanks
On it! Shame according to the trolls it's only as good as a vhs though
Cheers, just purchased and I believe it’s considered one of the “4K” reference films

or where physical sheep and and humans have been replaced by isheep....

good film but to me it was a little too focused on setting up the next films in the series; story felt a bit slight ...
boring movie..

Get her to watch Inception. And wake her for the end... should confuse her no end.

As good as Blu-ray was the general consensus. Speaking of which, the physical Blu-ray is now less than £7. Comes with a digital copy and can sell the Blu-ray to get it for roughly £3/£4 all in. Of course it will "only" be HD, but the option is there.

Thought it was of the best films this year! Well worth £7 for a 4K copy.

either use an apple TV or cast it from your phone to your TV if it supports airplay. Alternatively, if you have a computer hooked up to the TV you can watch it that way.

Sorry can't answer. I don't have an apple devices. You could try grabbing a 4K movie sample (like the free big buck bunny movie) and testing it out. As far as I know you need a chromecast ultra to do 4K otherwise its 1080p max. Never used a vuze or samsung TV so can't comment... sorry.

It should be noted that currently, if you download to iTunes, you can only download an HD copy. So if you want the full 4K experience you have to stream from an Apple TV box. It's the only way. Happy to be contradicted as I want to be able to download a 4K version. But the best I can find at the moment is a vague promise Apple "might" support 4K downloads in the future.
Thanks all - much appreciated...noticed i can get hard copy for about £11?

You can also watch movies in 4K on iPad Pro 10.5 inch and 12.9 inch (2nd generation), iPhone X and 8, as well as Apple TV 4K. Take your pick!!

Not quite true as the iOS devices don’t have 4k screens. The X and Pro will display HDR or Dolby Vision though.

fell asleep in the movies..
I've never walked out the cinema before a film ended ever but this was a first....just didn't know what was going on half the time and gradually nodded off....
A 4 grand film for £6.99? Bargain.

If I had a way of playing this I’d be all over it. It’s a superb film.
Looks absolutely superb in Dolby Vision. Absolute bargain at this price.
A modern masterpiece that follows on from the original masterpiece. For those who disliked it, it's probably best you stick to your maximum brain capacity of Love Island.

boring movie..

very boring and nothing even close to the original.
I still feel terrible because that I payed £17 to watch this rubbish in cinema.£6.99 is ice cold for it.

the first film is an all time classic and simply fantastic..the sequel? an awful, boring mess with no value whatsoever.
how about that?

free for me. Im yearly Cineworld User.
I enjoyed this film. Rented it via Prime and then bought 4K physical version for £13 from Amazon in their Black Friday sale. Not many films I buy physical copy of these days.

Ultraviolet. Pfff.
i bought on prime when it came out in 4k as i missed seeing in the cinema. great film. apple needs to sort out their available apps or lower prices of 4k devices if they want adoption as they'll end up making more on content
It's funny... People talking about BR2049, that it was a bore, couldn't understand it, walked out etc. I felt that way about the original for years. Never quite got the hysteria. Then one day I put the final cut on and it clicked. It went from a meh okay movie to one of my faves of all time.

It got knocked back a place when BR2049 came out...

Saw it on the last night at the BFI Imax. Was sat middle, middle. A moment that won't be lost in time

If you don't get BR or BR2049 I'd really encourage you to stick with it and even read up on the theories... In the age of reality it gets more and more relevant.

And the music for both the original and 2049... And together with Drive started a love affair with sythwave. Love em all
I love sci-fi but this and the first are 2 of the most boring and overrated films ive ever watched.

What other sci-fi films? Honestly I think BR and BR2049 are up there with some of the best sci-fi... Agreed, they're both slow burners, but why would you say they're boring? Not trying to be an knob, just interested in why you think they're boring... I never thought they were boring, personally I was too young and the themes raised just didn't resonate back then.
