The extra's alone warrant the £27.42 for this boxset

They also have the Ultimate Matrix HD-DVD set for £15.95.

if you coupled this with the £4.99 xbox HD DVD players last week then you would have a fantastic little package to kick it off....

The deal is HOT!!!

Already have the ultimate on DVD-HD so cant justify again, but still a good deal

I've added heat and rep.

I watched the film recently (on hd) and it looked fantastic.

But, I can't believe I'm about to say this, but..... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

LOL I know it's the best scifi film ever but I was sooooo bored.

I'm of the age, 40+, where it should be my fav film but it draaaagged.

Ok, let the flaming begin.
But still, that's a great deal.

Dancingfred, was that the first time you watched it?
The first time i saw BR i was very underwhelmed. but it's one of those rare movies that improve with repeat viewings.. now one of my favourite films. so go back to it when you're in the right mood. i literally saw things i didn't see before on repeat viewings..

Nope, I saw it originally in the cinema (I said I was old) and thought it was the most awesome thing ever.
Then saw it again a few times on vhs, still thought it was great, but this was the first time for at about 10yrs and I was like yawn. Didn't even have the nostalgia kudos to it. But it did look fantastic in HD.
Thanks for trying but I think I'm just old and cynical now.
Even 3d Avatar didn't get me excited.
But then again, I cry in Robin of Sherwood, so not all is lost, is it?

The new versions without Harrison Fords voiceover are boring but fortunately this pack also includes this one which was the original cinema release

Technically the original film release WAS the one with the Harrison Ford voiceover - test screening audiences were confused (the buffoons!) so they had him do a voiceover after filming. If he sounds knackered and disinterested it's because Harrison Ford is at this point!

They quickly released a version without it, which I agree is far better.

For those of you who are still collecting HD DVD's I've found the American website ]inetvideo.com to be a good for finding some reasonably priced and hard to get HD DVD's. They have some on offer at the minute, starting at an amazing 99c (around 65p), the only stumbling block is the shipping. Having said this if you buy 5 @ 99c it only works out at just over £3 each delivered and thats not bad if you need some to enhance your collection. I've ordered from them before and they delivered pretty quickly. Last night I placed an order for Face/Off,Sleepy Hollow, Dirty Dozen, Forbidden Planet and World Trade Centre that works out around £4 each and its been posted already. Hope this helps
