Blade: A blood chilling, action-packed thriller about modern day vampires unlike any previously encountered. Wesley Snipes is Blade, the ultimate vampire hunter, and immortal warrior who possesses the superhuman strength and cunning of a vampire but shares none of their weakness.

Able to walk by day and stalk by night, Blade must confront his ultimate adversary, the omnipotent vampire overlord Deacon Frost, Stephen Dorff, who is intent on leading an underground legion of vampires to conquer mankind. Blade must use his awesome powers and razor-sharp weaponry like never before to prevent the annihilation of the entire human race.

Blade 2: The blood coursing through Blade's veins is half-human, half-vampire, the result of a vampire attack on his mother before he was born. Blade has been working with Scud, a brilliant slacker and inventor of devious weapons, to destroy any vampires that cross their paths. The hunt for vampires takes them to the lair of Blade's sworn enemy - Vampire overlord Damaskinos, who now needs Blade to deal with a far more deadly threat than either has ever faced before. Nyssa Damaskinos's strong and darkly exotic daughter, and her co-warrior, Asad come to meet Blade to formalise a truce. They will have to work together to stop the Reapers, a Super race of vampires.

A mutated form of their vampire predecessors, the Reapers are infiltrating humanity and vampires alike with the reaper strain that will leave thousands of carriers roaming the streets in just a short time. The infected trail leads back to Patient Zero, Jared Nomak and Blade must destroy him before he and the Reapers destroy the human race.

Blade Trinity: This is the third installment of the film series adapted from Marvel comics. Here, a new challenge faces the preternaturally sharp hunter, Blade (Wesley Snipes), when a group of vamps resurrect the long-slumbering "Drake" (Dominic Purcell)--the ancient and all-powerful Count Dracula--and Blade meets the ultimate opponent. Teaming up with the Nightstalkers, a group of similar-minded hunters led by tough slayer-hottie Abigail (Jessica Biel) and her joke-a-minute partner Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), Blade is ready for battle.

However, Drake's handlers are an unruly bunch themselves, with sassy goth wench Danica (Parker Posey in a wonderfully exaggerated performance) doing her best to make things as unpleasant as possible. What's more, while Danica's vamp team is harvesting homeless people for their blood, the Nightstalkers' scientist creates a potion that can not only kill Drake but can take the entire bloodsucking race with him. And thus, David S. Goyer continues the BLADE cinema series, satisfying fans with plenty of the nocturnal monster mystique they so desperately crave.

Looks like a great price to me, I don't get why people are voting cold.

It'll get hot sooner don't worry

Awesome price, even if the third film is unbelievably poor. But then, I bought the Robocop boxset. ;-)

Voted hawt.

A great find...just ordered mine and rated HOT!

nice find, some temperature on the way

The first two kicked ass......

hot from me! i paid double the price for this about 6 months ago! 1 and 2 are good but 3 is rubbish!

The intro scene from the 1st film is worth this price alone! One of the best ever!

Doesn't seem to say anywhere on Play (unless I'm missing it) but this would appear to be 5 discs - 2 disc editions of the second and third films.

Given the 2 disc edition of the 3rd films is £3.99 on play, what more can you ask.

(This appears to be the same set on amazon, though showing 2 different boxes in the images, 5 discs, £13.18…E2E )

Awesome films, awesome music, awesome character names and an awesome price.

Fantastic price. Heat added

At least the 3rd one has Jessica Biel in it....innit....

At least the 3rd one has Jessica Biel in it....innit....

The third movie in this boxed set ("Blade: Trinity"... yes with Jessica Biel & Ryan Reynolds making up the three characters of the title) is not the complete movie, even though this set is dubbed "The Complete Collection".

I would recommend buying the first two movies ("Blade", & "Blade 2") separately, and "Blade: Trinity" (Extended Version)...

]Stehpen [sic] Dorff to star in Blade trilogy spin-off
Oct 12 2008 Sunday Mail

BLADE star Stephen Dorff is set for the comeback of the year for vampire fans.

He is working on a new trilogy featuring his iconic character from the smash-hit movies.

Stephen played evil bloodsucker Deacon Frost in the 1998 movie which starred Wesley Snipes in the title role.

Stephen is thrilled to revive the Frost character with Blade director Stephen Norrington.

The actor told us: "It will be a prequel to the Blade movies, Deacon's story. It's a new trilogy the director has created. It will cool.

"We hope to shoot the first film next year. Frost is a character I have never been able to shake."

Stephen's new movie Felon has gone straight to DVD in the UK this week but is winning rave reviews.

He said: "It is probably the best-received movie I have ever made.

"I would rather be in a good, small film than a hit which wasn't any good."
