Heard lots of good things about this. Heat from me. 2D dark souls, if you’re a fan!

      Oh nice.

Now I'm super tempted to buy it.

It's also very unforgiving and if you are a sucker for punishment it's a great game.

      Challenging yet rewarding

Just from another perspective, I've only played it about an hour and explored a few places and says in the menus that I've completed about 20.6% of the game already. No idea how it's that percent already tbh.

I also wish it was a little more faster paced movement tbh, but I'm still really enjoying the game even though some places are either puzzling or frustrating, to be expected with a souls like game.

I'm going to download it when I get back from work
Great game, been playing it casually since yesterday. Really atmospheric and unsettling environments. The counter/parry is quite forgiving on its timing though and makes some of the combat much easier as you become comfortable with it after an hour or so.

      Still highly recommended though!

Currently at Our lady of the Charred Visage 😬 Brilliant game. Tough at times, frustrating enemies but fun.
Enjoyed dead cells, is it similar?

      Not as fast paced.
It's not entirely dissimilar (sword, power ups, can be fairly ruthless). But Blasphemous hassave points throughout as opposed to going back to the start, and you're more likely to tactically parry in this (its fairly essential I think). Less enemies on screen at once, with noticeably slower gameplay.
Both very good in my book, just different.
