Its either 720p or "FULL HD" (1080p), it cannot be both.

I remember when Blaupunkt was a premium brand, and not just a badge on a cheap Turkish TV.

4K really is the sweet spot this year.

According to their web-site
it is 720p

I doubt loyal B&M customers care.

Neither can I. But with this TV you’re paying most of the total cost of a heavily discounted 4K set for a fraction of the resolution and lifespan.

So that’s why I think 4K is the sweet spot.

You say most of the cost, but I'm not finding anything close. Got a link to something you've seen?

EDIT: In fact, do you even get 4k 32" TVs? Seems mad, you'd have to sit right up close?

The resolution is irrelevent, so you're just flat out paying more.

About the time 4K came out, I saw some 28" and smaller TV's with 4K stickers on them at one of the high street retailers, including a 26" 4:3 ratio screen; nothing since though.

As I remember it, nothing smaller than 32" can you tell the difference between SD and HD, nothing smaller than 40" can you see the difference between HD and FHD, nothing smaller than 48" can you tell the difference between FHD and QHD, and nothing smaller than 55" can you tell the difference between QHD and 4K.

If I can remember where I read that, I will post it - and also check I got the screen sizes for the higher rez screens correct.

These all depend on you sitting at the optimum range from the TV, but either way - it makes a mockery of 24" 4K PC screens.

Yeah, I just don't get the need for 4k on a TV which is only bedroom sized anyway. Its going to be over 6' away from most people, whats the point?

I hope you haven't bought this yet OP. You will be able to find a 1080p 32 inch for that price (or possibly under) tomorrow.

Blaupunkt is a meme brand that poor people fight over at your local supermarket.
