Give it a month or so and this'll be £100.

HD Ready really shouldn't be £149

£99 is the absolute max. Its 2017, there are some stonking deals for reputable 43" / 4K / Smart TVs at the moment. Whilst not everyone needs them, the old tech should be sensibly priced
Picked up one of these for £159 two days ago, and it seems a good deal to me even at that price. I really can't fault it, apart from one minor gripe - at the top of the picture, the very top row of pixels seems to missing about 2/3. It's like there is a small step up, 2/3 of the way along the screen, where the pixels suddenly start working. It might just be because the input is Free-Sat (via scart), but I can't say for sure as I don't have any other input source to test it, although I could try mpeg on a USB stick.

Not sure if the offer is still on or not (there was a deal already posted), but I also got a voucher for 10p off a liter of fuel from Tesco when I checked out at the tills.

Perhaps it shouldn't, but can you find a similar (or better) specd TV for less than £149? I had a look in Curries, and the best I could see there were around £180!

Yep, this is the cheapest. The next is the jvc £179 one but I don't really see much difference between the blaupunkt /jvc brands so might aswell go for this!

I know I can't. But that's the point. A 32" HD Ready TV (not full HD) shouldn't cost £149 today.

The smaller screen sizes seem to cost more than larger TV (per inch).

Either way, I wouldn't spend £150 on a supermarket TV that was not full HD

What's the difference between HD Ready and Full HD?

HD Ready means
that the television is able to handle a High Definition signal. It produces 720 lines of information across the screen which is not Full HD. It does not have a High Definition tuner built in, so the HD services would come from an external source such as Sky, Virgin or a recorder with HD built in.
Been looking for a TV to use for the xbox one (as my disappointing AOC monitor doesnt work for the job!), and this TV is the cheapest one I have seen. I agree that waiting a little longer the price will drop.
I have one with the DVD player built in and jbl speakers built in and to me it looks great and I can watch movies of my usb stick 3 hdmi ports 2 USB ports and Freeview HD plus my Xbox one says it is in 1080p 60hz not 720p 60hz also have smart Blaupunkt also that I use as my tv downstairs and for the money you can not go wrong
I got one of these last year on a similar deal for my daughter and its been fab. She plays xbox with it and is permanently on it and we have had no problems with it. Colour decent aswel.
