No 4k . Big negative. £209 in the drain.

Can't you just say 'no'?
If you're in the market for a 40" TV it must be worth finding the £80 more needed to get the Samsung UE40MU6120 instead: hotukdeals.com/dea…189

4k; can deal with, if not actually reproduce, HDR signal; and is smart
I brought this 2 years ago for £150 or £180 can't remember exactly. But it will go down.
Expensive torch
Blaupunkt used to be the car stereo brand every aspiring scally was putting the side window through for in the mid 80's what has happened to them since then?

Every single TV deal you say this, yet I know hardly anyone that cares about 4k. Especially in a 40" set.

Like many well known electronics companies, they decided to allow other companies to use their name in exchange for money. Usually it's unknown crappier companies that buy the right to use the name and stick it on something somewhat crappier than you'd expect.

It's happened with Toshiba TVs, JVC, Sharp and Philips, to name just a few.

£209 for a 40" led tv, seems a reasonable price to me, I was interested in this brand due to it being around since 1923 and German made, I'll have to look at the reviews (but a few years back I know it dropped under 200 I might wait

Aye, did know there was big big Turkish lIra involved in taking the brand name's ownership so it was more a pensive resignation than a genuine enquiry

JVC also went the same way, got a feeling it's all to do with the new Ottoman Empire Beko or the shadowy big boys in the background behind the company should I say
