Love this game. Old school top Down racer in VR.
The VR in this is one of the best I've seen to date.

A bargain no doubt but I do have to question the use of VR in everything …A bargain no doubt but I do have to question the use of VR in everything these days.Surely a top down racer really doesn't get much better because it's in 'VR'?I think people just want to justify their VR headset purchases

It's strange. You'd have to try it.
It's like a table course in front of you.
You almost feel like you can touch them.
So a little boyhood dream with micromachines and explosions

Don't know why they never did.
It would sell well even at full price.
    Probably don't like money

I was considering this last week, no brainer at £2.29, especially when I have £11 credit from Oculus.
In my youth, the about of hours I spend playing with Micro Machines was unbelievable
    Looks fun, purchased! Cheers op.
Once you explained it, it made total sense lol
Love this game too - madcap stuff
can you play it in 2d mode as well?

Quite the opposite. This is actually a prime example of how VR makes a simple game feel like an awesome experience. Simple stuff works incredibly well. This, table tennis, and a climbey are my cheapest and simplest VR games and also my favourites.

Picked this up on sale a few months back for the same price I believe and have put more time in and gotten more fun out of it than games I've paid twenty quid for.

Imagine having your own little rocket league arena that you can set up on a table with real remote control cars and they fire real missiles and buzz saws at each other and do flips and boosts. Watching it on a screen is nothing like having this stuff in front your face and it looking completely real.

To my knowledge the steam version is 2d only.
    So pretty much.
If you own it from previous to oculus store releasing the dev did at one point give keys out for oculus store.
