The railroad's bound to run right through the sleepy tow of Rock Ridge. Land there will be worth a fortune - but the townsfolk already own their own land. How do you drive them out? Send in the roughest, toughest, meanest, leanest gang you've got...and appoint a new sheriff you figure will last about 24 hours.

But that's not really the plot of Blazing Saddles, just the pretext. Once Mel Brooks' lunatic film - many call it his best - gets under way, logic is lost in a blizzard of gags, jokes, quips, puns, howlers, growlers and outrageous assaults upon good taste - or any taste at all.

One of the best films ever! Not politically correct nowadays but still a good laugh.

Mel Brooks was making fun of racism!

It's an excellent film.

Anyone know if the transfer is any good ? before I order a candygram for Mongo

No, no god dammit, I said the Sheriff is a Ni....Boiiiiing

Oh, he said the Sheriff is a near.

lol

Could this be combined with an baked beans offer

Great deal

marks....................... I've got this on HD disc for the xbox and I found it quite a good transfer. But the tv episode with lou gosset jr was not that funny don't no if it was cause mel brooks had nothing to do with it. But fantastic film no matte. Wat format it's on. It's a classic that will never be remade. If they did it would be ruined.

Yeah - agree belly1066 - a remake of this would never work - genius as it is

Badges? we don't need no stinking badges.

Hilarious film, stinking price!

"I've been with thousands of men, again and again, they promise the moon, they're always coming and going and going and coming ... and always too soon" Lili Von Shtupp

One of the most quotable movies ever. Someone has already taken my favourite line (badges etc...)

Too many to choose from...

Baby, please, I'm not from Havana

HOT

What's your name?
Well, my name is Jim, but most people call me... Jim.

When i tell people this is the funniest film i have ever seen they look at me in bewilderment at what's he going on about? but this is a true comedy classic...My fav line... You said rape twice? 'I like rape!'
