Find it strange how these have the option of a paid subscription service …Find it strange how these have the option of a paid subscription service when the main camera (XT2) doesn’t For me that was the big draw to the blink system and would have considered getting these to compliment what I have already but think I’ll give them a miss despite their low price.

If you have an existing Blink system purchased before mid April, you can add these cameras to your existing setup and there is no subscription to pay. These cameras come at a lower price because they don't use the Blink hub and they will make up the price difference in the subscription. If you are an existing Blink user, take advantage of the free streaming offer and save yourself a lot of money on additional internal cameras by getting these.

I've got the two XT2 kit and the outdoor cameras are really good imo, the ease of installation and simplicity is the main things that come to mind when I think of these.
Standard price so not a deal
I can't see unless you are able to use them with a bridge, why you'd ever want to purchase these over the XT2 with a subscription model as the XT2 will break even in next to no time.

It depends how many cameras you have. Even if you don't qualify for the free streaming as an existing blink user, you will get about 1 year free with these cameras. An £80 annual subscription then covers you no matter how many cameras you have. As they are about £40 cheaper than a normal XT2, 2 cameras become more expensive after 2 years, 4 cameras are more expensive after 3 years.

There will also be people who are happy with the local storage and not opt for a subscription.

If you are an existing blink user looking to add internal cameras, they are a bit of a no brainer.
Anyone have experience with blinks night vision footage?
Some review show it to be very blurry.

There are a lot of good Youtube videos which demonstrate the night time capabilities e.g. YouTube Video

I have both an XT2 and a Mini, they are both equally good and so I would say not blurry.
