I bought a 2 pack of these and was very unimpressed with them. Sent them back. WiFi was not very good on them and I found half the footage was missed once recording had started.

Only a muppet would put it in a place where it’s easily reachable.

Mate, there's no need to shout. Multiple people here have been trying to educate you on how these systems work but you don't seem to get it.

2 hour storage space with 15 second recordings is 480 activations. I'm not sure how many postmen/milkmen you get visiting your household but these are not intended for recording your everyday life. They are to provide peace of mind when away from home that there's no scumbag prowling about your garden or chancing your front door. If you miss 480 notifications whilst on holiday and do nothing about them then I agree with you that these are not for you.

Personally the things I like about Blink are:
- 2 year battery life - most of mine have managed this. No climbing and recharging batteries every few months like some other wireless competitors
- IFTTT integration - mine switch themselves on and off depending on whether people are at home
- Cheap and these are the cheapest ever price
- Good customer service - American call centre answers calls within seconds

It is not perfect and I dislike:
- Lack of app updates and functionality
- Cameras need goof sync module and wifi reception
- Taken over by Amazon so uncertain future given they also own Ring
2-Camera Kit is £89.99 and an Add-On Blink XT is £44.99 - should point out THIS IS A PRIME EXCLUSIVE DEAL

Its not contant record, they are motion sensored, so record a short burst when the sensor is tripped. Or you can watch live footage, so 2 hours worth of 10 second bursts is adaquate for most i think. Its an ok cheap wireless system in my opinion!

Great price, I was debating in between this one and Reolink. I prefer Reolink, but this price is too good, I may get one. The cheapest has even been was £79.99, Reolink slinghtly more, but this is an unbeatable price now. Not many options for wireless outdoor cameras.

Seen a lot of bad reviews for this, worth a punt at this price or just a waste of money?
can you replace the battery after its empty?

Replace with AA batteries
I hope this is good, as I'm awaiting my delivery of the 3 camera kit I ordered off QVC, on special a few days ago for £199..... looks good, the fella doing the demo was a bit nuts like, showin everyone how he watches his cat at home on his camera with the app!
Just hope the 3rd camera furthest away from my router (placed at the back of the house) connects ok to the router nearer the front
Reolink was £75 a few days ago, have tried to post a deal from their official website but probably they do not pay any 'duties' to HUKD, so my deal was cancelled despite the fact the product was shipped from the uk. nevermind they allowed Reolink products from Ali Express and Gearbest. Reolink is better, but they can't beat this price.

This should get very hot!

I did the same and ordered off QVC - should be here tomorrow or next day. OK confused isn't it cheaper just to buy the 2 camera system with one add on than the £199 QVC deal? By the way the deals are coming because the XT 2 comes out in a few months. They have discontinued the XT in the USA.
Blink XT2 was released in America a few weeks ago but there have been so many problems with it that they have stopped sales.

Looks as though they are selling off the XT stocks here in anticipation of a relaunch to include UK when the problems are sorted.

They require AA Energizer lithium batteries.

Did you watch the sales pitch with the really exciteable guy in the blue jacket?
Think we get double cloud whatsit, 4 hours?
If it's crap it can go back!
The feedback and after sales sounds terrible.
Just reading reviews and some pics of the night vision posted on Amazon make for Very poor performance.
Think I`ll be sticking with my reolinks...... I have been collecting a number of CCTV + NVR ,reolink ,cameras over recent months...(still to set any up yet ..lol But I do know for sure it`s pure Quality ) and this looked interesting at this price ...But the reviews have made my mind up.....Looks terrible picture Quality.

Still a descent price for very Basic use I guess.

Best Regards,

Thanks for any info and please if you find any good reolink offers ...You can PM me the details. I do scoure Ali express Amazon most days for the reolink offers ...But sometimes I do miss Deals.

Just looked at the reviews and they seem to be pretty bad but the odd thing is the ones from 2019 seem to be good I wonder if there's been some firmware update that addresses a lot of issues. I'm torn do I risk it or stay away as I don't need anymore agro in my life.
Just noticed that although this is listed as a Deal of the Day (Prime exclusive) it Ends In 331 hrs 13 mins 30 secs as of now.

So it will run for almost 2 weeks 😁
I've got this kit. In all honesty it's good once set up correctly. After sales has always been good. I had one issue with a camera not detecting motion to right hand side but after relocating it, it functions perfectly. My front camera gets a lot of activity so I've installed the solar power unit to it which sits discretely on my bay window out of sight.

That'll be Amazon fake reviews to shift poor products

I'm using IKEA rechargeables. Shows as going flat on the app but I get 2-3 months out of them with dozens of alerts a night

Commonly considered to be rebadged Enloops.
I've been very happy with mine

Agreed. A lot of people don't understand what it is, thinking it's a constant record system which might explain the bad reviews.

It's cheap, wireless, long battery life, ok quality. Happy with mine.
Terrible reviews. How does this compare to Arlo Pro?

Anyone have link to reolink deal please?

Yeah, you're missing something

2 hours in total. They record in bursts, when there's motion
I purchased ring spotlight cam last year also at the time reviews were bad but most complaint were to wifi related issues. My ring cam never gave me an issue once even when I'm half way across the world I was still getting notifications and able to view live think it all depends on the wifi coverage were your put the cam.

Have to agree. Resetting the hub every 2 days. Poor reception. Over a year of having them . Just wished I'd gone with a different system really.
Clearing stock for the XT2 which is out now (better battery life and two way audio, perhaps only released in the States right now?)m
I’ve got four XT round the house and work great.

Been looking for something to replace my y-cams which I've had for several years and initially came with 7 days free storage but now want about £50 a year per camera (have 2) which I stumped up last year when they eventually offered me a deal, but will be looking to replace before it expires this month, so perfect timing for this, at this price too good to not at least try, will send back if rubbish.
The idea looks great, but reviews have put me off even at this price. Will wait for something better to come on the market at a reasonable price
Hmm tempted with this... shall i shall I not.. Birthday coming up next week and fancy a the 2 camera deal..
Lots of negetive reviews on here, but geting HOT? Whats going on?
This kit is crap - avoid.
Have 3 of them in my summer house abroad. Terrific buy!
