  • Battery-powered security system: Wireless home camera with 2-year battery life, powered by 2 AA lithium batteries (included), data is sent from IP cameras over Wi-Fi.
  • Smart home security: Home monitoring that you can install yourself in minutes. Easily control wireless cameras with the included iOS & Android apps or via voice through our Amazon Alexa skill.
  • Advanced home surveillance: Home and pet monitoring in real time with video camera "Live View" streaming mode.
  • Cloud storage at no additional cost: Totally wire-free, with no monthly fees or service contract required.

Doesn't state anything about the amount of cloud storage so the QVC point might just be overstating something that's not really of great importance. Might want to clarify it with Amazon though.

I'm so tempted by this but I wonder if Amazon will have them a little cheaper in their upcoming 'Easter Sale' :/

They might do. The mounting brackets sound a bit flakey, also the bright blue activity LEDs alert robbers that they're on camera, so you might need to place a sticker over it to make it less obvious.
As a trespasser, if you saw a bright blue LED, you'd be tempted to just rip it off the wall if the bracket is as flimsy as online reviews claim it it to be.

Still having a think about it before I take the plunge.
Basically QVC's today only deal is an indoor/outdoor version with twice the cloud storage (4 hours instead of 2) for the price of the indoor dual pack.

I had heard the LED can be turned off on the XT's. Not possible on the indoor models.

In the words of Alan Patridge: Aha!

Useful to know, ta.
Night vision quailty is abysmal, even your own mother wouldn't recognise you!

It certainly can be switched off. I've turned the led off on my outdoor one but kept it on in my indoor ones.

well, that settles it then!
I've got to buy mother some new glasses.

You've tried the product? Is it that bad? I noticed specs state 720p resolution. The QVC online product page has a video of the presentation and the prancing demoer's face appeared just like a white blob when he wanted to demonstrate low-light capability supposedly in an all dark studio. (I personally thought it was just all the make-up and mascara!) but I have to admit, I wasn't convinced with the product's demo. But it could be just the self-professed expert not demoing well on channel Quality Value Convenience.

No, I am thinking of getting some but the comments regarding the crap mounts were worrying and I would not even consider mounting them at less than 15 feet above ground, too tempting, ...it would be like scrumping apples!
I was commenting on the feedback on Here, the customer images for night vision are rubbish.
Someone also mentioned that the recordings are at 720p not 1080p ...and it showed apparently!

I have a 4 camera wired system which I bought on Amazon in December 2017 and have only installed temporarily.
One day I'll get round to doing it properly!
For £39 plus a tenner for a HDD from a Sky box I'm not disappointed!
No cloud storage, no batteries but similar night vision so I recon I'm winning so far!
Indoor led can be.turned off. But u cant see anything in the dark
Seems triggering sensitivity is an issue. According to some of the Amazon reviews, the device takes its time to start recording

to get a flavour of the issues witnessed.

Sorry guys n gals, looks like this a product to avoid until the next gen release.
I saw those review but then sorted by most recent first. I don't know if there has been a software update recently but the recent reviews seemed more positive.
Any suggestions for an indoor/outdoor camera, wires free. Apart from this and Reolink, something cheaper. Thanks.
I have a single blink with protector and I must say it's amazing.. Picked one up off ebay new for £75..
It says it’s not available at this time. When is it available?

I have some Blink XT's and am happy with them. App is decent and haven't had any connection issues. Day time quality is good, night time just ok. The mounts are a bit flimsy and they only allow you to angle camera in one direction (as opposed to ball and socket type mount). There are cheap alternative mounts on Amazon but it's a shame supplied ones aren't better.
