these are not Continuous these are 60 second movement recording only with just 2 hrs online storage and have no internal storage

if its for protecting your property or business buy a dedicated system with continuous recording to hard drive and remote recording to a mobile device or remote backup to cloud

From what I've read it's only the single cheaper indoor camera that has a subscription fee (can't remember where I saw this). These are sold as free cloud storage so I'd imagine it would be hard to suddenly charge people as it might come under some sort of miss selling guidelines but I'm no expert.

It depends what you want it for really. If it's just capturing the odd bit of movement somewhere when you're out for peace of mind or being able to check in and watch live then these are ideal. If it's constant recording coverage then you'll need a full CCTV system but these will come at a higher price.

Think it comes down to a lack of customer service agents so if anything is wrong with your order people are spending 2 hours plus on phone lines and being cut off etc. Have a look at reviews recently. However that being said if you pay via PayPal you should be good.
Can these be used to record to your own storage on a NAS server?

No - it records alert only clips to its own cloud storage

It’s frustrating that these tech companies all seem to be going that way. I bought a ring doorbell which is now just a doorbell without the clip recordings because I refuse to pay £60/year for them to host my footage which I could easily do on my own server.

Yep I agree - thing is I had multiple Foscam FI9900 external cameras recording to my high end QNAP NAS (i7 processor) and you had to pay QNAP for extra surveillance station licenses and the surveillance station playback of historic footage was awful slow and clunky. Connecting to cameras whilst I was out and about was hit and miss too - it was 50/50 if I could connect to the cameras to see what an alert was. So I got rid and bought Nest IQ cams and best hello door bell. Just brilliant and I always connect and scrolling through historic footage is easy and works!
Been waiting for the price to come down. Have some heat
It's cheaper to buy one camera with the hub and an additional camera (£121.53) than the equivalent bundle (£127.49)?

Or am I missing something, do you get anything extra if you buy it as a bundle?

I agree how did we get from the humble door knocker to a subscription doorbell. Worlds gone mad, and people say they have no money at the end of the month! - I wonder why?
I bought this direct from Cuurys 4 weeks ago for £199. Really simple to set up and can add upto 5 cameras on the included sync module. Recorded footage is in clip format as stated above though you can view live footage at any time from anywhere (connection permitting). They also capture audio and have a 2 way speaker you can use via PTT. The mini camera subscription is currently free until December 2020 though they are soon releasing a sync module which can accept an SD card to store footage on locally, not sure if that will be compatible with the XT2 range though.

if you buy it for £121.53, you are spending £60.76 per each camera with the module. if you go for three camera deal you spending £55.24 for each camera and sync module. If you buy 5 camera set for £254.99 then you are spending £50.99 per camera with a sync module.
So 5 camera bundle is the cheapest thing to go.

I hadn't used it at all. Looks like the last one sold anyway, so that sorts that problem out.
