That's an add-on isn't it? 1 camera system is the same price

It looks to me like your link is just an additional camera, whereas the deal here includes the control/main box.
Better off buying via the ebay store, + quidco/tcb cashback + 6x Nectar points

Almost bought one today, but weighing up the reviews and customer experiences, I've passed on this and will wait for something with better low light and facial detection.

I have these cameras .
And also experienced with lots of other cameras and camera tech .
And the people with bad reviews are the people that just don't no how to fine tune the camera in the settings.
These are 1080p and great night vision .
You can even pinch zoom while watching to get a better look at things .
My batteries are over 6 months old and still going strong in the cameras , so people in reviews saying they had to change batteries after 3 months are definitely doing something wrong .
The only issue I would say is it takes about 3 seconds for a clip to come through once sensors are activated. But its just seconds .
Get the settings right and these cameras are great .

That is for one camera. No sync module. So a useless camera if you haven't got a system already. Good if you already have a system and want to add a camera.
I have this camera. Its utter garbage. Dont buy it. The “live view” is lagged by a few seconds so if you seen the mailman by the time you see it hes long gone

Clearly you didn't set it up correctly!

Nah i did. I have 2 other cctv systems, one wired and one wireless, with a 500mbs internet connection. Its garbage. The fact that it “turns on” only when prompted or it detects motion means it takes a time lag to begin recording - the fact that the recording is on a cloud further slows it down

No- that's a completely different product! That's a single camera... the £75 system includes the £67 camera and a sync module worth about £30-40.

Can these be set to send a notification to one's mobile when triggered, so it could act like an alarm system?

Yep. It has an adjustable motion detection system. That it does.

What are peoples experience / opinions regarding these cameras as opposed to the Amazon reviews?
The bad maybe due to end users Tech experience, or not.

~ Picture quality Day & Night
~ Where you can Zoom in, how is the quality,
~ Night Vision, How far does the IR sensor work up to 3, 5, 10 metres etc...
~ Battery Life their website states the following *,
~ Motion Detection,
~ Response of the App Notifications for Android/Apple,
~ Microphone / Speaker
~ Weather i.e. Winter, if the lens freeze over and you don't get Sun for majority
~ Is cloud storage free or limited then you have to pay

*Two AA lithium metal batteries last up to two years, based on an average use per day of 8 seconds of Live View, 60 seconds of motion-activated recording and 6 seconds of two-way audio. Battery life will depend on settings, use and environmental factors. Use of two-way audio will reduce battery life.

Any thing I may have missed then please comment
