Monitor your home from your phone

Protect your home with the Blink XT2 Full HD 1080p WiFi Security Camera, designed to work with the rest of your XT2 camera system. The customisable motion detection makes it easy to choose where the camera is focused, so you won't constantly get alerts when your cat wanders past. Point it at key areas like doors and windows to enjoy peace of mind while you're away from home.

Using the Blink app on your smartphone or tablet, you can view Full HD footage at any time, day or night. Use two-way audio to talk to any visitors, and if you have Alexa you can control the camera with your enabled-devices.

Store hundreds of clips

Worried about running out of storage space? Fear not. The XT2 comes with free cloud storage so you can save hundreds of clips with ease. There's no additional monthly fees or contracts, so you don't have to worry about hidden costs.

Easy to set up

You can use the XT2 either indoors or outdoors, depending on where you need it most. Don't worry, it's built to withstand the elements. Set up is easy, with no tools or wiring required.

Plus, you'll get two years of battery life from two AA batteries. So you won't have to worry about the camera always running out of power.

Not garbage at all - I have Nest IQ cameras around my property but I use 3 of these Blink cameras placed in difficult to wire power to locations, to cover fence locations as an early warning I even have one screwed to a tree to cover a black spot - I have one inside the garage to capture faces of anyone who opens it. They’re great.

I've had the same set of batteries in since I got them around 2 years ago (I have 3 cameras and have not had to change them yet).

I have them set to 1080p and just turn them on when we go out.

All 3 are inside to save having to run wires around the house. I have 2 normal wireless Foscam cameras outside though.

Think these are ideal inside, but batteries may wear out outside when they are going to get triggered all the time.

These are great for people who do not have the skill set to set some modern CCTV systems up. I use XProtect by Milestone for my home CCTV which is great if you know how to set it up. If you want simple this is it.

Free cloud storage?can someone explain their cloud sub costs? I was thinking about the RING cameras because of their competitive cloud plan with many devices, but still looking for the best security wireless system with the cheapest cloud options available
You can use the SMART10 code to take another 10% off this, brings it down to £60.75

Have you tried these batteries?
Will this camera work without any hub (Sync module)? I can see another listing as £74.99 System with 1 Camera: currys.co.uk/gbu…~RR
Just wondring if these work with the old Gen 1 hubs?

Thanks Mark.

No, you need 1 hub at least for it to work. This is just a add on camera for those with a hub already.

These are great for what they are (motion-activated recordings, good battery life, wireless install). A lot of people seem to think they are a constantly recording CCTV system which they are not.

Had these since Jan and haven't had to change batteries yet.

Yeah it all depends on usage. Our indoor cams last ages but outdoors pick up alot of activity so only last a few months
My experience of these cameras is very positive.......Easy to set up, batteries have lasted really well in mine and perfect for my requirements. I also like that there is microphone/speaker, so when the kids get home from school I can have a chat with them whilst they are on the doorstep getting their keys out (also handy if you have a delivery driver on the doorstep)

Nope, it needs a "sync module" which is ~£20 more expensive as a bundle over the price of just the camera alone. I understand a single sync module can run upto 10 (or maybe it was 20) XT cameras. I only have a a single XT2 camera but it needed a module.

True. I've set mine to auto arm and disarm. So if I'm at home they aren't on. IFTTT

On a deal now sure. Last month when I got the XT2 system (camera + module) it was £79 and the the camera alone was priced at £59 (iirc) hence my "~£20" difference remark. Either way, you need a module, if you dont already have one for it to work.
Nearly bought one over the weekend for £99. Now got set of two for £120...bargain...thank you OP

how is this in the dark. I wanna monitor what animals are in my loft lol!!??
Good deal IMO - I have two at the front (and have just bought another two).

You can edit the areas you want the camera to trigger on, so if pointing towards somewhere busy - you can exclude that bit. Can be done in the Blink app along with scheduling.

Also like being able to freak out delivery drivers when they’re coming down the path using the two way talk.

Rechargables work fine, I use amazons own or the ikea ones. The app shows them as needing to be replaced as soon as installed but they'll last 3-4 months in busy areas
