Does this work on the wife?

I’m sure if she puts them on she won’t hear you. Sounds like a loving gift from the heart to me.

Thanks OP, none in stovk near me though . Lots of people buy them for their children for fireworks night. Also useful for listening to Drill Music or cRap music?

Who would buy these? you get them free if your job needs them :\ if self employed youd just buy expensive ones and claim it back as PPE. People above saying buying them for fireworks? half the point of the firework is the noise
When you say “Claim it back” it not like that’s doesn’t still cost money. Can get the VAT back if registered, and can used as an expense against tax burden, but it will still cost somewhere around 60-80% of the purchase price. The government aren’t providing free PPE to businesses are they?

I use these for watching the drag car racing at santa pod. Literally the single loudest Motorsport. I love watching it from nearby ( stands are only about 30 feet from the track) but also like to keep my hearing

Some children love to look at the fireworks. But some children have sensory issues with load noises etc.... so these can be a god send.

My son loves the visuals of fireworks, but not the noise.

Please don't be confused.....or ignorant. Everybody is different is there own little way(s).
I have these. Believe it or not, I use them to block the noise of nearby night clubs (and clubbers). Best £3 I ever spent.
Could do with these to block the noise kids make
Useful for the cinema or music concerts which have damaging sound levels these days.
