Can I have a "P" please bob

Bring this popular game show back to your living room with Blockbusters. Still a much-loved retro TV hit, contestants had to cross the tiles by answering questions related to each Hexagon. Now you, too, can compete and relive the nostalgic atmosphere.

Complete with game board and quiz book, answer questions for each lettered tile to cross the instantly recognizable grid and challenge your friends.

Measures: 28 x 21.2 x 2.6cm

Ah. Channeling in to our nostalgic sides, are you?

I've ordered the Bullseye one (thank you!) but I can't order this. It's intended for Christmas and getting my kids to throw things is one easily achievable task. They'd assume I'd gone f***** mad if I was even to suggest a Gold Run.

Regardless. heat added. Appreciate the share

I'll have a "P" please, Bob.

It’s £4.80 with code PLAY20

Sort of thing you'd usually only expect to find in a charity shop. The proper ITV series hosted by Bob Holness ended in 1993.

Everyone wants a P from Bob

.... And all Bob ever wanted was to give her the 'D'

As a contestant on Blockbusters the difficult dilemma was always whether to go for the best or quickest option or to go for the giggle factor of asking Bob for a "P" ...

This was £4.99 in my local Sainsbury's (Burpham) recently, along with a version for Play Your Cards Right, just in case anyone wants one and is going to a Sainsbury's.

Let's see your mascots !

A gold run prize back in 1983 was a trip to New York on the QE2, two days in a New York hotel and then back to the UK on Concorde... and then there were those gold-embossed Blockbusters dictionaries ... Classic !

£2.99 delivery

Boo to the change in the game board to 5x5 rather than 5x4.

Oh, fantastic, I'm voting in a yearning for nostalgic hipster kind of way, becasue, it's so amusing and people will think I'm so hip and 'current' when I get this out to play @ Chrimbles.

I still have the original Waddington Blockbusters board game and the Super Gold Run edition as well, I will have to dig them out and take a trip down memory lane.

The website just says book but as long as the boardgame is included this is a good bit of Xmas family fun. Heat.

Burpham

Is that really a place? Is it twinned with Fartburg in Germany?

I can confirm is a real place, just outside Guildford.

Been past many times on A3 to Portsmouth or into Guildford.

Presumably is better living in Burpham than in a Pratts Bottom.

You want to try coming from Wetwang (village between York and Bridlington).
