Omron on Amazon at the same price.
This one is not reliable and not all Lidl stores will stock it.

Or you could get a reliable known brand like Omron for £9.99: http://www.co-operativepharmacy.co.uk/Omron-M2-Basic-Upper-Arm-Blood-Pressure-Monitor/id-3535101

Even with the shipping It's under £13, and p&p becomes free after spending £30.

Agree with above. British Heart Foundation recommend only some monitors as being reliable. Some omron, (but not all) are on it's website.

Omron at £9.99 is half price offer, also available in store.

Keith

I bought one from lidl some time ago - laughably inaccurate.

Just to let you know co-operative pharmacy have omron ones for £9.99 at the moment. Hope this helps someone

Perfect present if you know a hypochondriac.

cold deal - as mentioned above, Omron (M2) is forever going on offer for a tenner at Asda, too

Another lidl agent.
This deal is cold as ice. Featurec monitor is inaccurate piece of crap.

I need one after a week looking for deers........

Even professional ones need to be re-calibrated each year , I wonder how many people believe wrong readings ?

Why would you need one of these anyway?

Oh, wait....................................................

You do not need to be a hypochondriac to need one of these,I recently underwent a triple bypass and now have to check my blood pressure daily.

Bought mine from Amazon.

According to this, my blood pressure is a Lidl low. Imagine my shock when I was told that 12:06 wasn't the time.

Eh? Why is this deal hotter than the Omron/Co-op Pharmacy one?

Don't need one - already got my blood pressure monitor.....................................

Thanks man, you're special too

Omron M2 is £16 on Amazon. Omron is certified and is used by health care professionals such as GPs. Loads of positive feedback. Voted cold

I'm sure the Omron one's great, but to be honest the fact that it's used on the NHS tells me nothing more than it's probably gonna be cheap, this thing is German made and has a 3 year warranty, regardless of your opinion on who is selling it the product will work and will work well

Take a look at Omron's research and clinical validations for their products, supported by the British hypertension society. That's why health professionals use them, I should know i am one.

OUCH!

I wasn't trying to sound harsh, and I'm sure the bp monitor you have recommended will work fine. The point I was trying to make is that for a couple of quid more you can get a monitor that's been tested in line with government MHRA standards and is recommended by the British hypertension society because of it's accuracy throughout testing. Not all monitors meet the same standards therefore only certain types are recommended by the relevant organisations. Just trying to pass on what knowledge I have to help people make the right choice

Cheaper and better brand already listed - why get this one?

Ive ordered the ormron one off amazon, they are supposed to be really reliable.

If you are going to try and use this remember to check the cuff size. To big or small and the reading will not be worth a jot.

Does OMRON M2 works with arrhythmia ? Non-arrhythmia blood pressure monitors lie about blood pressure, whenever they encounter even slightest irregularity in heart beat. Im big fan of Omron blood pressure monitors, and never tested Lidl one (yet!), but believe that non-arrhythmia blood monitors simply suck.

The M2 should still give an accurate readings. One of the higher spec models M4 or M6(more expensive) will show a sign on the LCD display when it detects AF. I don't know if they will detect of other arrhythmias though.
