One of the best games this generation and definitely more accessible/enjoyable than Fromsoftware's latest title Sekiro in my opinion.

I know this game won’t be for everyone. With that said, it’s become my favourite game ever. I played it through to completion 3 times in a row to get the platinum. Half the time I barely manage to finish a game I enjoy once. A gem of a game and one I’ll treasure forever.

All I remember of this is that first werewolf,
This game is so hard that most people will never get to use the extra DLC bundled with this version.
It even makes it hard to access the DLC when you get that stage.
Rewarding game, but not for your casual gamer!!

This is the sort of game I really wish I could get into (like the Dark Souls games). Unfortunately I do not have the patience (or the skill) to get past dying ten times in a row and still enjoy the game. I prefer games like Tomb Raider and Assassins Creed that hold your hand through them. Or games like Outer Worlds where levelling up is fairly easy.
Worth every penny. In my top2 games of all time
£10.50 for a lot of game here.

Great game, need to pick it back up again.

I agree with you. I think it's just the challenge that's enjoyable. Similar to games on old gen consoles like Nintendo, megadrive etc. They were unforgiving - restarting games from scratch if you lost all your lives lol.

For games like Bloodborne I found it more enjoyable playing with a friend.
I played tje standard version on disc. Does my save carry over to this to play the dlc or is it technically new game?

It'll use the character from your save, it's just like visiting a new area in game and obviously whatever gear you get you can take back into the main game.
