Very good price ordered

just such an annoying, crabbit inducing game, worth every penny as its so rewarding when you put the time into it :-)

Great game. The inherent difficulty made it extremely frustrating at first, but after plenty or trial and error (continual deaths) I begun to master it and am now hooked. This is one of the showpiece games on PS4, and a game anyone with a little patience should own. As already mentioned above, this game is very rewarding once you give it a chance to suck you in.

**** incredible game. Truly **** incredible

I'm still trying to get into this after several hours of plugging away trying to understand what is going on. The game does NOT hold you hand in the slightest. If you're not prepared to put some work in, then be warned. Read the reviews and watch the beginner's guides on Youtube to give yourself at least a chance.

after demon souls, dark souls 1 and 2, you don't need a guide. you just need to approach the game a bit differently than most games.

Oooo ordered, this is my biting price for PS4 games - thanks OP - voted hot. I will place on shelf and play this after Witcher 3 for PC - guess won't be playing bloodborne for while though as Witcher 3 awesome and got weeks of gameplay left for me! I loved the soul series though so this should be epic. Shame its not on PC, but as long as performance isn't as bad as it was on Lords of Fallen it should be fine.
2015 has been epic for decent RPG games so far!

That just depends on what type of gamer you are, personally I finished demon and dark souls without using a guide as that would have spoilt them for me. For some the reward of knowing you got past something challenging without help is why they play these games.

*bing* My price. Thanks. Now, I've just got to remember what my GameCollection password is...

EDIT: Wait, they take paypal. Maybe I paid by Paypal last time, it was 8 months ago.

My memory is awful.

There are a couple whole sections of the game and one ending that you will probably miss if you don't have a guide though. I doubt anyone would know about Cainhurst Castle unless they were told.

Beautiful game, doing my 3rd run now and I'm still discovering new things!

Suprisingly similar to Dark Souls 2 (same creator) but not as hard imo.

Had a lend of this for a few dauys and its very nice to look at and very slick. Unforgiving as the Dark Souls games.

Need to finish Dark Souls 2 before buying this and hopefully by then it will be sub £20 (or the PS5 will be out by then and I'll get Bloodborne 3 as Dark Souls 2 will take me forever as I die every 2 minutes!)

Cheapest price at the moment for new so Hot.

Great price, ordered

Already have it but would bite otherwise. Heat added, Good deal

Brilliant game, just completed it first time. Never played a dark souls game before. So it was a new experience but brilliant once I got the hang of it.

Fab price, does this include any 1st user only DLC may I ask?
Trying to decide it worth buying new.
Many thanks.

Slight exaggeration. Never use guides/wiki on any first run throughs on any game. I only used the wiki on my second play through to find the stuff I missed. I think that's where most of the difficulty lies with DS1, the game is very ambiguous when telling you where to go and what your goals are on any given quest. I liked it. It was very similar to Morrowind in that respect. As for the combat, it's simple when you realise it requires a very defensive approach in the beginning rather than an offensive approach like we're used to in almost every other game we play nowadays.

My GOTY hands down. Enjoying The Witcher 3 right now, but not a patch on this for shear enjoyment. Personal opinion obviously, but despite having the Platinum, I still can't help keep going back to this. Fantastic game. Bring on some DLC.

any dlc ? I ask cos I was thinking of getting it cheaper 2nd hand.

Thanks. Ordered.

DLC has been announced as coming. Defo a game worthy of anyone's cash. Playing this currently after doing DS2 Sotfs. Little getting used to but once you have a few hours behind you its immense.

Yes the main thing I learnt was to not rush into fighting groups, be patient, dodge A LOT and strike when you get the chance. Also don't get greedy with multiple strikes especially with bosses. Most enemies and bosses can be easily beaten by dodging and getting behind them, obviously getting behind can often be hard...

Once you complete atleast any one Souls game, you'll straight away get the jist of the next and becomes easier as you get more experienced, just takes time to get used to

Playing it today, I'm getting owned but loving every second

As the price of this and the price of PS4's go down.. and now the announcement of Fallout 4.... It maybe time to take the plunge.

Exactly. I was getting cheesed of on the first section, very close to quitting it after going against my better judgement and buying it. I'm so glad I did as it turned into one of the best games I've played.

These eejits have just emailed to cancel my order claiming problem processing payment even though PayPal confirmed they authorised it.

I've made three orders from theses clowns now and that's the second time they've done this... Never.....again.

I might just be a masochist though. I finished Rick Dangerous 2 as a child and enjoyed it, I think you can finish anything with persistence
