true true, I think I just got caught up in all the excitement and posted a deal a little early.
Edit: Damn, forgot 10% off doesnt work for pre-orders.
Tried to like them so much, hopefully there will be a demo for this one lol
Director said that Bloodborne will require more aggression because you quickly become overwhelmed, so shouldn't feel as slow. Then again it'll still require patience and they're aiming for the same difficulty as Demon's Souls. It took me a while to get into Dark Souls, I recommend that you try again, they're great games.
Damn lol, ah man I can't do it lol. I always start the games and feel like "whoo this is going well and it's not so bad" then I get to certain points and it's like ? REALLY! What am I supposed to do there. Friend at work thought the same thing and we both gave up haha. I don't like to give in easily but I do when it's not a game I am really getting into.
The one in Dark Souls I died on the first big boss lol, had to run from it at first then later I backtracked to him and he just wiped me out. I assume I had to fight him that time as I couldn't run anywhere and I couldn't hit him because he just hit me and my HP just vanished! I honestly don't know how anyone finds this fun but I'm glad some do, I just don't have the patience for that!
Is there a trick to the first big boss? I know I would just get angry if I die so easily and when a game becomes stressful that's when I stop! Shame because this game looks incredible but I think it's suited to a certain fan base, i.e people with patience of a saint or very skilled gamers lol
If you're really just looking to get through the Souls games with as little fuss as possible, choose a magic class and keep building your intelligence, etc. Royal in Demon's Souls and probably Sorcerer or Pyromancer in Dark Souls. Magic is ridiculously strong in the Souls games, especially Demon's.
If you're referring to the Asylum Demon as the first boss, when you circle back around to him and are on that platform above him, you're expected to do a plunging attack (drop off, then press the attack button in the air) which takes a whole bunch of his HP. Then just dodge swings and get a couple more hits. It should only be around 3 Pyromancy fireballs, if I remember right.
The games are very daunting but there really is a moment where everything clicks. You'll forever be terrified of what's next but for some that's the fun!
Wait, did you get stuck at the asylum? I think the big boss there is very difficult to beat initially without any decent equipment/healing items, I think you're meant to avoid him at the start and take him out later on after getting some loot. If a portion is frustrating you a lot then try some walkthroughs, the experience won't be ideal but it's better than just calling it quits.
The stress is what makes it so great imo, because after you get past that point it just feels so damn good. It helps to not think of this game as just being unfairly difficult for the sake of it, it just demands more from the players compared to other games.
I'm not sure lol it was basically the start were u go through the tutorial then have to face the big thing.
I feel ashamed to die so soon haha. I couldn't find an escape or any where else to go though
Lol ,I think you mean the big guys down by the water (and the coffin) in the tutorial ......you don't have to kill these at all and are pretty hard at that stage of the game .If you carry straight along the path (with the fog doors either side) then you come out in majula ,you don't actually HAVE to fight anything in the tutorial .....
I am not voting on this deal ,although I can't wait to play I don't see any reason you'd want to pre order (from zavvi of all companies) this nearly a year in advance !!!!!!! Especially as ps4 games are likely to drop to a reasonable £37 to £40 when the console has been out a little longer
It was this giant boss so big it doesn't fit on the screen lol. In like a courtyard ish room. Was a big main door which I couldn't go in.
Ah , the last giant ,hes pretty easy tbh ,a lot easier with a mage and really easy compared to the next boss
I thought you meant the 2 large club guys through the last fog door on the left in the tutorial "Things betwixt" (there a coffin behind them that you can get in to change your characters gender)
Lol. If that boss is easy then it's probably good that I quit. I could hardly hurt it but it hurt me!
I could probably do it but I don't find it fun when something kills me that fast
Just use a walkthrough to get past it then, you shouldn't be dying that quickly against him if you have the right equipment. After the asylum the game really opens up.
You're probably thinking of Let it Die.
Or Capcom's Deep Down
No-one told Zavvi, or Amazon.
I think you are both referring to different games.
last giant is dark souls 2.
asylum demon is dark souls 1
