I haven't said a word, but now you mention it.

Hot deal, great game. DLC is pretty ace as well (not included).
10/10 game, can't really describe why it was so good but gameplay was super strong. Great style.

Witcher 3 had so much going on except gameplay, so these two are rock hard to separate for GOTY.

Good times.
Easy platinum heat added

True - as hard as the game was, the platinum was relatively easy to get.

*subtle mention of my platinum*

TBH, It's not the genre I enjoy.
I bought this but couldn't get into it. The game is definitely well made and atmospheric but very hard and i know people say "git gud" but i don't have time for that. guess i'm a casual.
Thanks OP, ordered.
Also, 7% Quidco

I would say this game has about a two hour tutorial without even letting you know your in one. When you beat the first boss, the fun begins. I can imagine tons of people have quit in this first period, for me it was one of the hardest parts of the game.

Yeah maybe I didn't give it a chance but I could tell why people enjoy these games as they are very well made. I might pick the goty edition when it gets a bit cheaper and give it another chance.

The Souls games (of which this is no exception) are always the most difficult at the beginning (first 5 or so hours). Stick with it, level up your gear and it will become easier.

(all imo of course).
I still think this is the best PS4 game out right now. please comment if you think you know one better,
Il bring the saw cleaver out.
Fine game but I'd expect this sort of price new by now.
Out of stock for me

And that sort of mindset is exactly why every title released will be a skeleton game requiring untold DLC and micro transactions by the time the next generation comes along.

It's not even a year old but people are demanding, even expecting, it to be priced at pennies never has the saying 'be careful what you wish for' been more apt

Couldn't agree more.

Really enjoying this game. I'm at the end but is it best to do old hunters before I go into new game plus?

Well it is what it is, I was saying earlier in another thread Street Fighter 2 set me back 70 quid on the SNES in the early 90's!

How much was 70 quid then now and yet people are moaning about games being 40 quid in the modern day?????

Drop me out please!

Anyway Bloodborne was just not my cup of tea, I just couldn't get in to it if I'm honest.

Right this minute I'm just having a bash at the Uncharted beta and finding far more impressive than I imagined

Well for me games aren't worth full price even good games. I want to get games as cheap as possible and still having alot of content.

I trust you do double the work at half the wages of your colleagues at work then?

What an amazing employee and human being you must be, I actually suspect you must be worthy of some kind of global award like say the Nobel Prize (_;)

Well, around £20 isn't exactly pennies and I don't think dlc, expansions etc have much to do with game depreciation, I tend to think it's developers just trying to make money. For what it's worth, it doubt tiny games and mega dlc is really the way things will go, I suspect dlc doesn't usually sell that well as it's often poor value and quality.

I seem to be repeating myself but I really do dread to think what you'd have made of Street Fighter 2 and Star Fox coming in at 70 quid on cartridge 25 years ago when the average wage was about £200 a week take home oO

Sorry mate but 15 quid to an apple for a top TOP game really is pennies in the year 2016, it honestly is and I'm not trying to start a tear up here ......... it is what it is
Fair point, it's all relative.

the way i look at it is that it is a lot of money for a game, but the amount of hours you spend on some games like this, Fallout, Witcher etc, its worth it. Even online shooters become worth it. People think nothing of spending 13 quid on a blu-ray and you get maybe 5 hours a year out of that. if you watch a film twice. And these days some games cost as much as films to make.
The real problem is when you get a short, or badly made rushed game and it costs £40/£50. That's when people should complain.
Great price for the best game of this generation thus far. Heat!
Hard as nails, not for me, and I loved Dark Souls :-(
Amazing game! Completed my first play through yesterday after a whopping 75 hours (not touched DLC yet). Spend a few quid extra though and buy it new, give the developer some well deserved cash instead of lining be pockets of Game and other similar companies.

Like Streets of Rage 2 on the Mega Drive a quarter of a century ago you mean?

Was still 40 quid and there weren't no interweb updates to sort the bugs out back then.

I do honestly feel like a scratched record, no medieval era pun intended, but I do think everyone has been spoiled rotten price-wise in modern era gaming.

It's exactly why DLC and those liberty taking micro transactions will take over in the very near future. The more people(especially casuals) pipe up about prices the more developers and publishers will implement plundering our bank accounts via other means.

Hmmm considering getting this.. Bought shadow of mordor recently due to all the praise on here and found it a bit repetitive and hard to get into.

Is this a lot better?
It's about 17 bazillion times better than Shadow of Mordor.
