Blossom Hill White Zinfandel (Pink in colour with gorgeous aromas of fresh ripe strawberry and of juicy watermelon, this is medium-bodied and utterly delicious)
Blossom Hill Cabernet Sauvignon (Deep red in colour with aromas of lemon and lime, strawberry and raspberry and the flavours of dark forest fruits, ripe plum and blackcurrant) at £2.50 each.
Easily half their normal selling price. I got one of each an hour ago, so I know the offer is instore today. What a bargain! Buy for a night in or something to go with dinner. Its a famous name for wine and the quality is undeniable :-) xx

This is exactly the type of wine the programme was talking about.

anybody know the %proof of this wine please?

Not £2.50 in Milton Keynes it's 2 for £8. Looks like this is not nationwide.

Hope it is... would like to grab 4 bottles @ that price!

Yum yum my favorite!!!!

Just checked another store and it is £5 each or 2 for £8.
Looks like TamaraKnight has struck lucky.

Getting hotter and hotter and only 2 bottles have been bought at £2.50 so far.

Blossom Hill. The peasants wine!! This wine is £2.50 for a reason it is for people who think there are "sopisticated" by drinking wine it is utter rubbish. Spend a bit more and get a decent bottle!:w00t:

the spelling mistake is on purpose to prove a point before anybody points it out:-D

Stop posting here if you haven't got anything good to say. I'd put the receipt up here if I could. I did get them at £2.50 and they were on a shelf in the shop. I would go and get some more cos I thought it would be a bit much buying lots of bottles of wine at 10am.
Ask the shop assistant if there are anymore Blossom Hill offers in the store or ask, if this offer is in one store, then why isn't it in the store you're in. If you don't ask for a bargain, you won't get a bargain :-)

First if it is £2.50 then it's not a bad buy. Only thing for me is the Rose is so sweet it basically tastes like sugar syrup. Their Chardonnay isnt too bad for a cheap bottle but if your not fussy id buy a couple of bottles for a rainy day.

I am sorry you are miffed about my posts I wasn't aware that only good comments are allowed.
I am not denying that you bought the wine at £2.50 but it is not available at my local stores for £2.50 so appears not to be nationwide. Perhaps you would be so kind as to let us know which branch is selling at this price.

Dont know what the fuss is about (yeast, egg, milk, clay.....) if these things were in Gordons Ramseys kitchen it would be considered gormet food. :whistling:

What I want to know is, do these thing do me any harm?

Good find. Thanks

Have to say somebody submits a post saying wine for £2.50 a bottle!! and it goes straight to the top of the hot deals. There is no proof this is indeed £2.50 and no can find it at this price i suspect the poster is "at the capers":p

Bought a couple in Ayr for £2.50 today! I much prefer this 'cheap' rose to the very expensive bottles my parents have in their wine seller!

I'm voting hot just to wind up all you wine snobs:p

Sadly not everyone can afford to be a wine snob!!

Great deal if you can get it
