Horror film starring Jennifer Carpenter as Los Angeles television reporter Angela Vidal, who, along with her cameraman Scott Percival (Steve Harris) is assigned to spend the night shift at a fire station. A routine 911 call takes them to an apartment building where it appears that some of the residents have become infected by an unknown deadly virus. When a group of residents try to escape with the news crew in tow, they find that the building has been completely sealed off by officials and all contact with the outside world cut off. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is contained in the news crew's videotape...

I watched the original Spansih version of this and it was really quite unnerving. Anyone know how good this is?

I love horror films....but this is shockingly bad!. Good price though

Original Poster

It seems to be a stand of £8/£10 Blu-rays. Appears to be national.

The Spanish original ](Rec) is excellent. The remake is very poor.

it is a very bad film, dont waste your time.just because something is cheap does not mean it is a good deal if the product is rubbish.not voted either way though

Definitely a good price.

Film is average. A little unoriginal. More so if you've seen 'Rec', which I will agree is a million times better.
For a remake though, there are worse out there and if you've seen neither then this will be a case of 50/50 like it or not.

But that aside the Bluray does offer brilliant picture and sound quality.

When the Americans re-make Japanese films, they're usually worse. It's pretty much the same here with this film.

Get 'REC' if you don't mind subtitles
