Wow. But they're only 50p each for the DVDs.
And only 25p on VHS

And only 25p on VHS

Perhaps but there is little difference between an upscaled DVD and a BluRay. There is a large difference between a VHS and a DVD.
DVD ???? VHS ????? Prehistoric Lol
Are these individually boxed or part of one big box? Just wondered if could sell the ones off that I don't want individually. Only really want Gladiator and to watch Wanted.

If you think that old movies look better on BluRay than DVD then I have London Bridge to sell you. People who buy old movies and TV shows on BluRay are suckers. People who re-buy the same content they already own on BluRay (from DVD) are chumps who deserve what they get.
Oh dear looks like " UnoriginalGuy " is a betamax collector Lol

If it's upscaled then I agree, it's not worth upgrading, if however it has been rescanned and remastered then it certainly is, one example is the remastered Star Trek Original Series blu-rays

And Top Gun. That looks amazing.
Go to blu-ray.com, read reviews of what's out there. Find sites that compare DVDs and blu-rays and believe me (or better still, believe your eyes), in most cases there IS a difference, and it's a difference for the better.

Mind you I don't pay a premium for blu-rays, I get 'em when there's good deals on...

And if you can't see the difference then you've probably not got a TV that's good enough to show you the difference...

Ordered ...

I already have Gladiator, so will sell that on!
True say!

And I'm talking from experience.

I have just recently upgraded my 2nd generation Panasonic Plasma 560p to a Sony LED 3D TV 1080p.

I have HD movies on my media player which I used to watch on my Plasma and I thought they were fantastic, however now watching the same movies but on Blu-ray -WOW!

I didn't know what I was missing until I watched Blu-ray on a good TV!

LMFAO!! Oh dear ......

'Old' 35mm film has a resolution about 4 times higher than Blu-Ray/1080p (If you think about it, film is projected onto a 50m screen & still needs to look good. Blu-Ray typically will only be used on a 40~50" screen, & if blown up to 50m wouldn't have alot of detail & likely look rubbish. So 'old' film is 4 times more HD than the Blu-Ray HD you're referring to).

If you still don't beleive me .... try buying a copy of Bladerunner (1982) or better still - Zulu (1964) on Blu Ray. Then try telling me the picture quality isn't jaw-dropping. OK - those examples are cheating a little bit. Why? Because they - along with lots of other "old" films were actually shot on 70mm film.

I'll take that London Bridge off you.
Watch "The Thing" 1982 version on DVD then Blu-Ray and tell me there's no difference.
Numpty.
Good price, 3 I like, 2 i don't mind watching.
