one of the best shows out imo

New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) has a lot to be proud of... but his greatest pride is his family. His oldest son Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) is a streetwise detective who always gets the job done... even if that means bending the rules. As an Assistant D.A., his daughter Erin (Bridget Moynahan) passionately defends the letter of the law while she struggles to raise her daughter as a newly single mother. His youngest, Jamie (Will Estes), just enlisted as a beat cop even though he earned a degree from Harvard Law. The Reagans have a proud tradition of service to the city, but they also have a habit of making waves, as exemplified by Frank’s father Henry (Len Cariou) – an outspoken former Commissioner whose career ended because of his bold opinions. Police work is more than just a job in this unforgettable first season of Blue Bloods, containing all 22 episodes on 6 discs.

Grandad does my head in though.

Hes always dordling in the kitchen with a tea towell over this shoulder.

Is this all thats in store for a retired Cop???

Daaaaaam

Tom Selleck does my noggin in with his pensive, moustache flaring smugness.

The oldest of the grand kids is irritating - shes a smug little **** too. I dont know why we watch it, i hate them all apaert from the rookie cop son and his boss.

Another thing too... do they all live in that **** house or do they just go there to eat?

If i was the old bloke id pretend id got Alzhimers and chase them out with my walking stick... **** off to your own house you sponging, smug ****.

aaaaaaahahaha we hate the oldest of the grankids too!!! little mullet hair!!!

imagine if you had a daughter like her!!!

its a bit cliche but very watchable

Oh c'mon, this is one of the worst things on telly at the moment...in fact it's on a par with Terra Nova it's that bad!! Poor old Magnum looks like he has a permanent bout of gas, the young rookie cop is truly pointless, Wahlberg is predictable and cliched in everything he does, the old guy just stinks, the lawyer daughter should eat a proper meal once in a while before she wastes away and the grandaughter with the mouth scaffolding should have been drowned at birth!!!

...this is american TV at it's very worst...formulaic, cliched, over-sentimental, nauseatingly patriotic and just plain lazy!!!!!!!

Southland and Rookie Blue beat this i think but its still very watchable.
