nearly bought some of this yesterday. has anyone tried it?
too spicy for my taste!
Tried this before, really wasn't a fan to be honest.

It's relatively hot, but not excessively.

I add it to chicken , peas and onion and it makes a nice Chinese chicken curry. I paid 99p a jar for it from Aldi, well worth it at this price.

It's Rubbish. Blue Dragon sounds like a high end product, but their noodles and most of their sauces are low end. Your better with something like a tub of Goldfish or Makway Curry Sauce that are a concetrate mix. They are easier to use, tastes nicer and is as close to a Chinese takeaway curry sauce as you will get. The Goldfish tub is available at most if not all large supermarkets, and you can get a "HOT" or "EXTRA SPICY" tub. Either is good.
I use it to make a chicken katu curry. If it is too spicy I would suggest putting a few table spoons of double cream in. Makes it look and taste like the wagamamas sauce

I've been buying the top one for years and never twigged it was called Goldfish.

Unusual for the branding to be so subtle isn't it? That image is older packaging possibly, the recent tubs I have bought from Tesco now have a small Goldfish logo on the front. May also depend where you buy it from.

There is also a Yeo curry sauce tub mix (concentrate), but I have not tried that and can't vouch for it.
I can confirm it's in my local (Newtownabbey), however I'll pass. Heat added though...
This used to be really good sauce, then I couldn't buy it anywhere. I rang the company to find stockists, they told me Asda - but no joy there. Then I saw it in Home Bargin yesterday and bought some. I am a bit dubious as it is a completely different colour. I presume it went out of production for a while. Here's hoping it tastes as good.
The concentrate curry sauce tubs mentioned only cost around £1.80 but work out well cheaper as they last far longer. More importantly they are better quality and taste nicer. Also easy to use (you just add them to a pot of water, and whisk) can also choose how thick with how much water used.
