Be careful when ordering from them. I ordered a Note 4 from Xiaomi online …Be careful when ordering from them. I ordered a Note 4 from Xiaomi online store (which isn't the official Xiaomi store btw) on 7th December and I still don't have a phone. Everytime I contact them; they give me some rubbish random reply which doesn't answer my initial question.I can't raise a money back dispute either untill 5th Feb (which is the last day that all disputes are closed. I hope AliExpress handles my money back if item is not delievered.

I opened a dispute recently over an replacement lcd screen for my note 4 global as the led's at the bottom were not properly aligned. I kept on getting regular advice from the live chat whenever the seller replied.
Eventually agreed to pay for postage of about £3.50 ($5) and now have a brand new screen for the xiaomi redmi note 4 global.
The trick is to involve aliexpress regularly and get their advice.
The old trick the seller could use is to waste your time and then the dispute time window expires. (they do this by asking you to send the evidence to a private /company address and then don't reply quick enough)
You need to keep your conversation with the seller strictly through the aliexpress website.
Have one of these for the wife. Works pretty well.

The screen size is about as perfect as it gets to hold as any larger and it becomes a pain.

Currently own Mi6, Mi5 Pro, Mi Max, Redmi Pro, Redmi 5 plus and Redmi Note 4x

Overall in terms of bang for buck its pretty good, it feels modern and well built, i'm using a "vince" ROM downloaded and installed from Xiaomi.Eu forums. Takes away those "fears" the Imported Roms that some people have.

Only phone i think i rated high in terms of bang for buck on my list was the Redmi Pro which was a highly underrated phone from 18 months ago that slipped under the radar PR wise.

Performance wise its inline with the Note 4x, - no surprise reallyas the guts are the same.

I would recommend this as a good phone to anyone

3gb or 4gb?I can't make my mind up!!

I heard that some testers struggled to get a phone to use more than 3gig of ram.. For general use 3gig is fine and running games... You probably won't need 4gig although it's possible with future software updates 4gig would be better, by which time you will be thinking of upgrading anyway.. Are you a heavy phone gamer? Yes = 4 gig phone.. Jmo... I'm well happy with 3gig of ram. No lag ever..
use snail mail
Just waiting for the 4gb version in black or blue to come in stock. Its probably worth the extra just for the storage
Hot! ordered too!!

I have had a recent bad experience as well. Phone never arrived, thankfully Aliexpress did refund. I would not use this Ali express seller again.

I had the same issue last week, its automatically confirmed but you have an additional 15 days to open a dispute. My tracking showed the phone left the country but never arrived in the UK. Got my refund in a week after the dispute was opened.
Is this the Singapore Xiaomi online store the one that's quite good or some shady reseller taking their name
Hot!
Theyare all resellers unless you are buying directly from Xiaomi. Iv ordered from these guys a few times and never had a problem.

They need to make smaller versions of the Redmi phones, like 4.5". Would be absolutely perfect.
Micro USB, so no fast charge....

no market anymore for such small screens.
5" is the smallest they do and newer models are only getting bigger, as most people want at least 5" at the very minimum
Banned
great deal !!
£123 now for the black 3gb and none left £145 for the gold 4gb version
Oh no! Earlier today... I ordered a "Non Global" version... from another supplier... But they did say that delivery would be in 6-8 days

Why is the Antutu score less on this than my year old redmi note 3 pro.Was gonna go for it because of the 6" screen.
Does this come with the Google Play Store installed?
Unbeatable phone for the price.

HOT.

Yes, it's Android with MIUI (a rather nice interface by Xiaomi that's rather Apple like). Global version means English without the adware etc.

Yeah, they all do.

My 4a still working fine but I'm tempterised.

I would be happy of they just made a global version of the normal redmi 5 aswell as the plus
I have the redmi note 4, best phone I've ever had!

Is this worth getting though? Looking at the 4gb 64gb one hmmmmm
2 months delivery is putting me off.

You get about 30% charge from 0% in about 30 mins.

Buy a Galaxy S8 if you want something that charges faster.

This is just over £100. Brilliant phone for the price.
Does this run vanilla stock Android or have a funky UI overlay?

Not if you have a Note 4 already. It's basically the same phone with a different screen aspect ratio.

Funky UI overlay but the UI is actually really good and very usable. I actually prefer the UI over stock Android.

Runs MIUI which is nothing like stock Android. Main difference is no app drawer, so you have to put all apps on the various home screens. Obviously you can use a third party launcher for a 'stock' feel.

Have a look at the Xiaomi Mi A1 if you want stock android.
