Low noise cooling fan, connects via USB to your console.

Allows your console to be stored vertically.

voting cold as this is a pointless purchase...

the wii doesn't need cooling unless you're in a 60 + degree atmosphere, the onboard fan is more than enough. the stand you get with the wii console should be enough if want to store it vertically

where does your info come from just out of interest?

I agree - my Wii has had a lot of play, including some mammoth sessions on Zelda, Wii Sports and Rayman and yet the console doesn't get in the slightest bit hot. The stock fans supplied with it are sufficient to keep it cool - unlike my sister's 360 which requires some serious cooling (hence the noisy fans it has).

Whilst the blue LEDs do make it look cool, I'd be concerned about using one of the USB ports on the console, as hopefully Nintendo will be using these to add a hard drive so we can download content (demos, patches, etc...) and a keyboard for easier surfing.

It's a nice price, though, for anyone who does want one to add a bit of bling to their Wii.

Common sense... consoles very rarely overheat simply because they're doing nowhere near the amount of stress as a PC does.

If you use wii connect 24 and keep it horizontal it gets very hot, though this isn't useful as it's for when the wii's vertical and there's no big problem when it's vertical

Looks good in the dark lights up the wii, wii! I voted hot.

Waste of money unless you are the sort of person with blue neons under your car.

The Wii runs cool by default so why add a fan?

But the pretty blue lights looks pretty.

You can see it will sit angled just by looking at the picture ;-)

True, I'm sure it is possible to disconnect the fan and just have it to pimp out your wii!
