I thought its a decent price seeing as I was going to purchase the other week at £15. Also if you have any googleplay rewards to use it will make it a little cheaper.

This not free on iplayer?

It wasn't.

I hot a new TV recently and deliberately missed the series so I could watch it in UHD but when the TV arrived it wasn't on iPlayer.

Strange, I watched it couple days after it aired on my smart TV? Will see if can find it again later

It was free on iPlayer for 30 days from the airing date, then it was taken off (9th Jan) and is now unavailable on there.
Excellent price, hot. Even if it happened to be on iPlayer at the moment it won't be permanently, some people would obviously rather purchase it.
Strange that BBC subtitle a lot of stuff on TV and iplayer but won't subtitle any of the BBC programmes on Google Play....?

When it WAS on iPlayer it was also available in UHD (4K) on selected smart TVs as an experiment. To get it in this resolution now would require the 4K Bluray version and an appropriate 4K player!

If the BBC had a "rent or buy" section on iPlayer (which I think is coming) I would rather get it there!
If I buy this on Amazon, is it in HDR?

Thank you for contacting HUKD / Amazon customer support. Give me a moment while I check that for you.

I can confirm that if you buy it on UHD Blu Ray then it is presented in HDR, however we don't currently offer this title for streaming.

Would you mind completing a short survey of how I did for you today?

Hot!. Even if it is on the I player, it's not free as you pay for a TV licence which covers the I player.
I don't have a TV Licence, so the one off cost of £9 is a bargain
Beware 'HD' on google play movies. Often, HD here is not as good as SD DVD release (see Harry Potter series, for example, which looks pretty bad in the darker scenes which I could compare to my DVD version). Might be better for this release, but you'd be much, much better off getting the Blu-ray if you care about how it looks.....

That's the joys of the same streaming method used as YouTube which isn't the best streaming quality for HD.
Does anyone actually buy or rent digital content in SD?

Maybe I'm a content snob, but I scoff people who browse to BBC 1 instead of BBC 1 HD, let alone buying SD content
