Who in their right mind would part with £40 for a helicopter tour of Skegness!
I've been on this and you're not in the air very long but it's brilliant! You can choose to have a more exhilarating ride or not. We went in with another couple as you go in groups of 4 and we chose the more exciting flight. We did see a little of the local scenery but we were flying so fast the fields could have been anywhere. So i don't think the location is that important. If you haven't flown in a helicopter before and you like a bit of excitement it's great fun. We loved it, it was an amazing present received for our engagement. You are well looked after and you can buy a souvenir photo of you with the helicopter looking all wind swept. You don't have to but we did as it wasn't that much and it turned out to be a really good photo.
I have a few rules in life. One is to not do cheap helicopter rides.
A six mile tour !!!....at general helo speeds that'll be a 10 min safety brief, 5 mins to drink the cheap champers and then all of a 3/4 minute flight

6 miles?! The bubbles wouldn't have settled before the time you landed again!
I don't need this... But I feel like buying it
Least it has more space than the usually tourist piston driven R44 & probably smoother.

Can kids join paying adults?
Fizzy grape juice, the pinnacle of aeronautical sophistication
What do you get to eat, fun sized Mars Bars and a bag of Hula Hoops?

how do you know what's provided at each location - probably will be R44s
So, is it going to be 2 people or is it going to be like half a dozen other people who have booked on the same day? Doesn't say anywhere? I am interested in buying it. Heat added anyways.

They wouldn't stay in business for long if it was 2 at a time every time.

That's what I thought. Too good to be true...LOL
Rather than spending 40 on it, i will start putting money away for my own heli....

Assumption from the photo was a jet ranger or similar. Likely be a R44.

A bit geeky, but think the one in the pic is a Long Ranger, but you're right it'll probably be a Robbo 44 but at least you're more likely to have the helo to yourself + pilot of course

Seeing as they also ask £10 extra to be in the sharp end, which would leave your companion stuck in the back unbalancing everything, this is pretty much guaranteed to be for five paying people each time.

None in London
I don't trust helicopters!!
The website is incredibly unhelpful on key details. Can a 15 year old join the experience? Is it valid on weekends?

But my Mrs potentially left potless with a mortgage she can’t afford. And I want a lavish funeral. Couldn’t do that to her.
If it don't go upside down like airwolf then I'm not interested 😜

Under participant details it says: "Passengers aged 18 and over are welcome. Please contact the venue if you are over 15 stone. Please bring the voucher along on the day."

I've no idea about validity at the weekends.

Exactly, it's a complete non answer lol

I looked directly on the vendors website and it suggests children are welcome.

Anyone know...if I book two flights back to back, would they let me go solo on the second session? I’m a really quick learner and have flown model helicopters before.

When we went it wasn't bought via the same website but it was a gift experience of 6 minute blueskies helicopter flight with bubbly. And the places selling this, offer it at the same airfields we were offered. Once you have the voucher you can book online by selecting an airfield and setting which dates are available.
Our flight was from Fishburn airfield Durham in a jetranger II helicopter. But that doesn't mean this type of helicopter is used at all locations. It seated 4 passengers (3 in the back plus 1 next to the pilot) and the pilot. You could pay £10 to upgrade to the seat next to the pilot. None of our group did this so they gave one passenger that seat for free. There was 2 of us so yes we had to share with a couple of strangers!! There were 2 helicopters in use the day we went which I think was a Saturday.
The photo we got is in a promotional frame for Adventure 001 experiences (a third company name) but their website which sells this package for a lot more does give much more info on the blueskies 6 minute helicopter flights with bubbly. On there it says passengers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult minimum age is 14 but for those asking about under 18's I would find a phone number and ask someone before buying as this might not be the case for this particular package.
What i would say is when you get your voucher book up asap as the slots soon get taken and you have a small selection of dates to pick from if you leave it too late. As i work shifts so this reduced the dates for us.
Hope this helps

Hate helicopters, the turbulence is terrible. Obvs that just me. Not a bad price just for the experience though!.
Fantastic deal thank you
Bunch of moaning sods
This would be fabulous value if it was really 6 miles... vertically!!

SpaceX eat your heart out, over a $434,041 saving!
I would love to do this, unfortunately none in London tho
